I have tried several times to click any button on my controls to get any window to edit to come up and nothing... I have pics on my profile cause I thought that was how I start was by adding pics. but still I can't see my profile pic can't change my user name ... I am a mess...LOL please advise :D

What browser are you using? Can you describe in detail what happens when you try to browse to the control panel page ("Controls" with the wrench icon on the right):
