Here's a pair of Venetian style goblets from May 2005 that i never got around to posting... The pix aren't the greatest, and it seems that the camera i used gave kind of warped appearence to the feet a little bit...but whatever, you get the idea.
Thanks for takin a look...

*PREVIEW* This is a project that was started on February 20-22 of 2006 between my friend N$#%,aka "J.A.G" During his last visit out.The first set of pix are from the prototype, the second are from the real piece-He's gettin' his self back out & we're gonna put paid to this thing finally! The egg,by itself weighs approx.7-8 pounds-and is about an inch thick, but it has to be cold worked quite a bit. This piece will sit on a large solid tripod, that will also be cold worked. The colors (on the finished egg)are layers of black violet, chocalate and butterscotch repeating.Coating is both powder and rod, layered over coiled B.V.so the whole thing is solid color. We burned a Lot of color on this.I think there's about 8 layers or more. We burned about 3/4 of a liquid bottle!Froze a propane tank & reg.thought we broke the reg.had to let everything thaw out.So in January when The J.A.G gets here we're gonna bust out the rest of it-it should be pretty cool,if all goes well. We'll see. Peace... Thanks for looking.

This piece is pretty big -very heavy ...i wish i had a scale referance and knew what it weighed for certain-but it's at least two or thee pounds......
Props to Tim Lindemann-i made this shortly after i started working with him-during our year long stint of working together.....he's been making some sorta similar ones for a few years at least... thanks for looking

This piece won first place last october at The 2004 SBCC Small Images Exhibit...in 3 D category..barely fit w/in size limits, had to be less than 18"...I havent put any of my non pipe art up....not much concerned about people swiping pipe tech...but I'm a little more territorial of my other work...but this is fairly a straight forword piece ,tech. wise...so why not post it I figured....I have a whole series based on bees and honeycombs ,and other related bee stuff...just a few pics....Dementions are approx 17" x 6...w/ stopper

Has anyone else noticed that virtually every piece that hits the front page gets a feature nomination or is featured...?
Maybe we should all chill on hittin' that old button a lil' bit...(Myself included)
I think we need to set the bar a little higher on what we deem feature nomination or feature-worthy.
Peace ~Smiley

>>>>>> '97 <<<<<<
" I suddenly became stangely inebriated. The external world became changed as in a dream.Objects appeared to gain in relief; they assumed unusual dimensions;and colors became more glowing .Even self-perception and the sense of time were changed. When the eyes are closed, colored pictures flashed past in a quickly changing kaleidoscope. After a few hours, the not unpleasent inebriation, which had been experienced whilst I was fully conscious, disappeared. What had caused this condition ?" ~Albert Hofmann, Laboratory Notes (1943) >>>Thanks for checking out my Art.<<<
*And a big shout to all those that have supported me & supported my Art along the way. **Thanks to all the guys i used to work with and bounce ideas with in Boulder.
