bunch of ras clarts
that is a one of a kind custom turbo coloring that you will not duplicate. why stick to keeping it black when there's so many other options. It all just depends on what you want out of it. I think it looks way better how this guy used the color for all it's worth. light bulbs weren't discovered by some guy that couldn't see past burning wood

You guys are retards
It's not like Andrew put this pipe in the featured gallery. The guy that runs this site did. He can put whatever the hell he wants in the featured galleries. Build your own damn site if you want control. I think this pipe is creative and inventive and that is the reason it is in this gallery. Nothing in life is perfect.

yea...
i feel like as long as the artist allows comments in their gallery, then we have the right to be critical, and no criticism to this piece has been unjustified, i think it is a very ambitious piece, i said that on my original comment, and im sorry if being featured is bringing on peoples' critique, but for one, if you put your work out there, that is what you get, buck up and deal with that, and two, this site is supposed to feature the art of glass pipes, so dont be surprised when pipemakers actually care how they are represented, craftsmanship and technical aspects are a very important part of what we do.... sorry, after i saw this featured with shad's recent work never receiving a feature it just seems unbalanced....i think the members on this site should vote for the features, because who knows better than our own peers.....

again, no dis to AKM, i have total respect for him as a fellow glass artist.

i agree. ambitious piece. so confused on what qualifies a "feature" so elusive its special, yet tossed around sometimes, as to lose respect. no sling, no shad, no J&k pendants, no fro. whats up? i'd love to see this column move steadily. if it did, this piece would'nt have been so scrutinized. chris.

My reason
All I was saying that if you wanted to tell Justin that he is picking his features wrong then you should contact him. Do not bombard the glass-blower with criticism about something that is out of his control.

good work
u know, my skill level is high. I can tell u from experience, that the only time people say critisize
ur work is out of jelousy. ur work is top notch and second to none. feature any thing u want. it's amoung the best in the world, remember that !!! many pipe makers are still children living at home so u cant expect much of them cause they still have a lil growing up 2 do. if u dont like a comment, delete it or leave it on. i saw that 1 about someone complain that ur piece shouldnt be featured. i laughed... all i want to say is that im a 3rd gen master glassblower at the torch, i do spun glass, sculputre and pipes and i have over 35 years exp, so take it from me...
ur work is amoung the best in the world.

i like...

peace !!!

Nice Work Man!
Yeah, there might be some flaws, but I'm sure you already know them. We're artists, and we can recognize flaws in our own work better than anyone else. Let them bitch and moan, it'll bring more people to your page!

All of that aside, I really like the design. When I saw the side angle of the pipe, I thought it resembled a patch of mushrooms. The side angle is what caught my attention and brought me to this page. Good work man!
