started working with glass in the fall of 1998...full time all the time since. having no formal training, i feel joy watching the barriers of this medium fall before me. each day is a lesson, and one step closer to full expression. always learning, always a student. production for the first four years, and since, have been working hard to let my own styles develope and evolve.. I love glass...thanks for looking **the pieces in this gallery are not for sale, and are not intended for any purpose other than viewing** thanks...glasspipes.org. and...thataintart.com

    purple
Maka B: nice work claw ,that GTT is showing the purple now . i love the silver colors now that i have my mirage ,the cc is a nightmere on the purples . nice piece looks big . that water jacket would be sick on the down stem at the water point ,it would defuse the draw and make it even smoother . ive done a fue like that and it was so smooth .keepum comeing . peace

    the upstem
Bearclaw78: it's just like a diffusing downstem i suppose. the air goes thru the piece and comes through the"upstem" into the water held in that part of the "can". and ya it does kinda work as a splash guard. seems to shoot alot less water up the stem. instead of one big bubble coming up, it's four smaller ones going to the side of the piece. thanks,

    nice job
Shad West Coast: your stemless functions like a regular bub ,its like a difusser of air ,and water no more splash ,you could build a smaller stemless hithout having the big ball to difuse the water ,no splash or straw action ..does water pull thru the holes at all..definetly going to bite that ,,,kudos

    pass it around shad*
Bearclaw78: ha ha, then we'll be even. it pulls a little water,(not to your mouth) but it brings the second chamber up to a better level, for more filtration. and then it recedes,, so after your done pulling, it gives a little glug glug, and settles back down. in a way it's a doubler. i've made a few of these and they all seem to function similar. at least you won't recieve a public beating if you do it.

    *not saying i invented this*
