Made this piece for a good friend for her birthday. Unobtanium and Blue Velvet colors. I was very happy with the way it turned out. Hope you guys like it too. (yes it is wet in these pictures, I had just rinsed it out.)

HA! Just kidding. That's my female crested gecko. Isn't she cute? Maybe someday I'll be able to sculpt a likeness of her image in glass. The green and white piece is one I made for a friend. Let's hope he likes it. The other is my first ever two section piece. It broke in half the day after I made it. Amazingly enough, it didn't break where I'd sealed them, it broke up the neck a bit from there. Weird. Anyway, I ground the rough edges flat and stuck it back together yesterday. Enjoy!

My first two successful three section pieces. I've never done the opposing spirals or the different colored carb before. I made two fuck ups yesterday that cracked on me right at the end, but I made up for it today with these two beauties. I know they're nothing compared to the art work on this site, but I've only been lampworking for not even 3 months so I could hardly be expected to compete with the likes of some of you veterans. Anyway, hope you all enjoy and I would welcome all comments and advice. I could really use some pointers when it comes to reversals. I just can't seem to figure them out yet. Someday soon I hope.

Thanks for looking at my galleries! I've been lampworking full time since December '05. I am mainly self taught and I owe a lot of what I've learned to this website and the melting pot. Thanks to all of you who have been so helpful along the way. Feel free to use the "contact artist" button to inquire about custom work.
