Hey everyone my name is Dale Sommers. I was born and raised in Costa Mesa Ca. I've been blowing glass since early 2000. For the first couple of years I made mostly produce. Getting bored and frustrated a budy and I took a Marcel Braun class. That was a huge eye opener. About a year later I took another class with Marcel at the Eugene Glass School. After that I decided to move to Eugene Or. For the first six months in Oregon I worked with my buddies at Mountain Top Glass. Keeping in touch with Marcel he gave me a great oppertunity to apprentice with him. So for the last year and half I've been working there. About six months ago Jason Lee became a part of the shop. Both those guys have stuffed and stuffed my head full of techniques. I have been very fortunate to have met so many talented artists along the way that have helped me out. Big Thanks to Marcel Braun , Jason Lee , Mountain Top Glass , Chris Ish , R.P.G. , Robert Mickelsen , and Mom & Dad. |
