Double diffused bubbler with flat canes.
Thanks for looking!

Here's another custom dubbler set. This one features a clear section just below the fill line with a worked, diffused downstem. It worked out well because you can see all the work on the bottom through the clear section in person. The color on this piece worked so nice. It was a pleasure to create this one.
AGAIN, I want to thank Jason Lee for all the inspiration during our workshop. It changed the way I look at glass forever. I am planning out ways to take the skills I developed since then, and branching out into more of my own work.
Thanks for lookin'

Another dubbler. I am really starting to enjoy these bubs. This one is a little smalller than others I've recently done, but that's what the customer wanted.

The main color is Twilight. Thanks for looking.

This one is smaller than usual at 11 inches tall. Again, I am using on of my favorite colors, Twighlight.
Features: -Diffused Downstem -Opal under a Facet Marble -Penetrating stem with "Flow" -Comfort Grip -Classic Pipe Making Designs -Large Flat Cane Handle (for passing)

Here's another recent double bubbler. This one stands 13.5" tall. It features a clear section at the water fill line, with a dichro worked, diffused downstem on the first can.
I used Blue Gold and Cyan Copper dichro from Sandberg. No burnt crystals. Great stuff!!

Another bubbler. Lately I've just been going through the steps, and practicing techniques I've recently learned.
My goal for now is to make some high-end clean glass designed to be extremely functional.
This piece has 2 different types of textured canes, and is smaller than a lot of my bubs.
Thanks for looking!!!

This piece was a pleasure to make. The dichro would have stood up to anything. I wasn't able to find a single burnt out crystal in either of the colors I used.
I have been working on getting a nice transparent purple, but the lighting in the pictures might not show it.
Thanks to everyone for all the inspiration.

I woke up the other morning, and was going to push myself to make some production glass for a local shop. While pulling points I saw a chunk of stick-stack and an old blow-in I made a while back and decided to try a couple things J. Lee had showed me in the lesson last week. The next day I finished this bubbler. It was nice to practice the techniques Jason had taught. Assembly and everything went much more smoothly then in the past.
Obviously this piece is inspired by Jason Lee. Actually everything I make from now on will be inspired from that lesson in some way.
Practice, Practice, Practice
Thanks for looking!!

This piece is the result of a week long class with pipe making genius Jason Lee. I would recommend taking one of his classes to anyone serious about high-end glass. He was very open about everything he did. Besides just demonstrating, he explained the steps in great detail and in a practical manner.
I was able to contribute a few sections and a millie. Jason calls it a collab, even though I spent most of my time watching him work.
Overall, it was definitely a highlight of my glassblowing career so far. The class opened my eyes to so many new techniques, strategies, design, and ways of making the pieces more functional. Thanks so much Jason!
This lesson/collaboration would not have been possible without Freedom 35. You guys rock. THANK YOU!!

This is a batch of my mini headies. I put a lot of time and patience into each one. Every piece I make is just practice in developing technical skill, and learning what I like.
I plan on making a bunch of these if the orders keep coming in. After working on big stuff early this summer it's a relief to work on some littler stuff.
Lot's of pics here!

This bubbler got pretty big. It's my first time making textured ribbon canes with the press my buddy Chris made. It's also my first bubbler on a GTT, which made blowing out the bottom quite a bit easier.
Thanks for all the inspiration!!

Freeek and I made this piece last week. It was a complete 50/50 collaboration, as you can probably tell.
It's got a bunch of wild Freeek stlye design, with my more conservative shaping.
It was nice getting to work with someone else for a change.
Freeek,
Your the man! Thanks for coming to the Twin Cities to work with me. We will definitely have to try another sometime. Maybe a double, (lol) flawless execution.

These are some pictures of a custom peace pipe I made last week. It has a bunch a graal sections and faceted ends.
Hopefully this is the first of many. I spent about five days working on it. Graal can be time consuming!
The piece is just over 2 feet long, and the magnifier jars are very big. One of them is faceted.
Thanks Freedom 35!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a lot of fun making this large bubbler.
It has a diffused downstem.
I used silver dichro over lapis, and it looks like baby blue dichro in person.
Thanks for looking!! I said i would repost these, so here they are.

What's Up! I took a ton of pics of this orange GONG/triple seal bubbler, and it's companion shlammer (that i think turned out good). The orange was looking good over the blue background.
There are also a couple of shots of me doing a jade blowout, and making a millie. I made the matching millies after I made the pieces, DUH.
Thanks for looking!! There's alot.

It wasn't intentional, but this bub reminds my wife of Scooby Doo.

This set is made up of my fire dichro pattern, with candy apple dichro over the bright sections.
Thanks to Andy G. (Borealis Glass) for showing me how to make dichro tubes. It's one of the funnest things I've done with glass in a while. I had a little trouble with the dichro (burnt some), but I know what I did wrong. A Delta should help too...
Pictures were difficult because of the black tubing. That stuff is so SHINY!! It's like a black mirror. The onyx from my stick stack looks kinda dull next to it.
Thanks for looking!!

These peace pipes actually made it through a car accident. Some idiot rear-ended me on the freeway while I was delivering them. They where secured up against the back of my trunk, and took a hard hit. The back end of my car is totaled, but the pipes made it!
This was my first time playing with the luster colors for sand carving. Thanks SLINGER!!

Here is a set made out of lapis blue. There is a gong bubbler and a dry shlammer. The dry has one of my "facet cups".
Thanks for looking!!!!
It's kinda weird making these Gong bubs, because the stem needs to be so long. It is worth it though cause they are very functional. It's nice being able to take the bowl off, instead of having to poke it out with water in it.

This was a custom order I worked on this month. It is my interpretation of a Hooka from Kashmir. I have more than three days on this piece ( that's after the first one cracked because of some millenium moss issue). It's all made with amber tubing.
it features:
-true amber GONG joints -76 spiral pulloffs (almost forty in the bubble) -faceted mouthpieces -faceted bowl -2 person hooka adapter -1 hooka size bowl -1 regular size bowl

The stones for this chillum were sand carved, and then flame polished. Last time I just faceted them.
The chillum is 8 inches long, and the whole thing is probably three times thicker than I normally work.
The set also includes a bright orange jar, pinchie, and a shlammer with a facet cup.
All dry pieces. I think you are going to need a bubbler with it too!

Here's another piece in my recent series of peacepipes. This one is longer than the last couple.
It's hard to tell from the photos, but the jars are BIG. The one that looks really small is close to one of my normal size jars. I should have used something as a size reference in the pics. Oh well, next time.
I'm pretty happy with the way this one went together, and how the colors came out.
Thanks for looking!!!

This was another custom piece i tried to replicate for a friend. He knows more about the history of it than i do. I guess this is the style of chillum monks would use. This style has a stone inserted into a hollow tube that works as a screen. I faceted a piece of glass on 8 sides for my stone. The original ceramic chillum has a 6 sided stone. Having the 6-8 holes ensures a nice draw while smoking. This design is really nice for cleaning. The stone comes out, and you can run tons of water through it. The monks would run a piece of cloth attached to their robe with a knot through it.
I spent a lot of time trying to make the walls of this chillum very thick. It would have been 4 times larger if i would have went with my normal wall thickness.
Thanks for looking!!

There were already some photos of this one put up, but I figured I would post my pics too.
These vapordomes are a great product. Blade is a real professional, and he's all about supporting the industry.

This is a regular bubbler with a stemless bubbling stem. I've wanted to do one of these for a while, and then I saw a Fro bubbler in this style. I really like the way he put the stem together, and this one is inspired by that design. THANKS to Fro, and the guys at Freedom 35 (LOL) for letting me see their inspiring collection.

This set is made of star white, and features a sherlock with a spinning marble (well it's not really a marble because it's hollow) and a double perc. stemless with a triple donut that has a marble rattling around in it.

An FSU custom set including a ashcatcher (made with a triple seal), spoon, jar, clawlock, and a couple GONG bowls.
It's my first shot at using the photoresist with the sandblaster. It could be better, but I think it adds a lot to custom work.
I hope it's what you guys wanted.

I didn't think these would be practical for dry pieces, but i ended up really liking the first one, so i made another. It's a good way to experience a facet. Too bad i can't figure out how to take good pictures of the facets yet
Big Thanks to Zak Love for the GONG carb idea, and to Fro for reminding me by posting that cool bubbler. THANK YOU!!

Here's a set a sandblasted bubbler. Two have GONG carbs, and two have kaleidoscopes (although i couldn't get decent pictures of the kaleidoscopes)
They are all quite large, and there is a lighter for a size reference in the shot.
Thanks again to everyone on this site for all the inspiration.
Oops, one of them isn't rasta, but it got in anyway.

I think this is my first attempt at a hooka. There is a lot of work in this thing. I even broke out the sewing machine to make the velvet hose covers.
The stick stacks were all done with that light purple/pink tubing instead of clear, which helped make the colors more uniform.
There are three hoses, but I also made 2 plugs so you can use it with 1, 2, or 3 hoses.
Thanks for looking!!!
Thanks Jeremy!!!!

Here's another bubbler for the Vapor Dome crew. I was playing with some ideas that are new to me on this one.
I opened up the doors to many new stem shapes on this one. Also, I figured out a new way to attach the GONG seals. I could take it a lot further than I did on this one, and almost completely hide the female part of the seal. We'll see what happens on the next.
Thanks Blade!!

Some triple donut bowls with rattling marbles.
I think these will be popular. Not only is it a neat gimmick, but the triple donut makes a great handle for the bowls.
