Everything Is Cracking! Can someone help me by telling me why every thing i make has ruff stuff that festers up , every thing is cracking allso,is it my torch and kiln?I have a major/minor and a jr.copper kiln.

It could be...........
your hose and regulators. From my understanding you need your regulators as close to your torch as possible. or your settings might be to high on your oxygen or propane. If place your regulators close, you can adjust them when you are working with sensitive colors. And you also might be working your piece to close to the torch, the further you are the better quality flame you have. Anyways beautiful work I hope this helps you-G

it might be getting to cold, do you kiln it often? kiln should be between 1040-1070.

Thanks, u guys got me thinking!
I think I had my oxigen regulater too high it was at 20psi,now 15psi is that still to high for my torch?

you should be fine with 15.i use to have the same problem . ijust started heating up my piece more often and it seemed to work better. so just remember to heat your piece up more often .
