currently living in RVA, spend almost all my glass time working on my Torture Chamber Tubes project
|
the medalion on this stemless tube is about 4.5 inches across. the wags are half and half clear and dicro. still not sure if I like the diamond tical. its real poppy but people keep mistking the silver color for being washed. when the spot light hits it there no question though. as always big ups to all who have inspired or taught me directly or otherwise.

My last week living here in Charleston, Dan K from San Diego came by the studio and we got a little carried away with a custom colabo... we worked tag team style on my cc+ building this little monster for 20 some odd hours. Finally finished it at around 5:36 in the A.M. Huge props to Dan for his contribution on this project, the kids a monster spinner! peace see ya in the north east.

I guess the main reason not to start a piece at the mouth piece and build towards the can is that by the time you get to the can it's freekin huge! This started off as a small/medium single bub and then I threw away the plan and added a section here and a section there and now its almost as big as my oven, go figure. I love the way that the color work on the main can came out. i've been working on that tech for a long time, many many thanks to the home boy in RVA for letting me pick his brain when I need to. Cant wait till we get to have some more fun together

this "little" guy is quite probably the biggest baddest doubler I have ever made. For scale that little white stick is a full length borostix. I was making the main can and drinking a tallboy of arizona iced tea when I noticed that my bub-ler can was starting to dwarf my iced tea can. this things a heavy bastard too. Not to shabby for an old man that smells like lotion and doodoo and spends most of his time barking at the nurses in the retirment castle to get nude and stop trying to steal my watch.

We have similar tastes...
I've been using that Nortel Mid-range for a little over a year now. I've got a Carlisle CC in the mail.
