bluefire wigwag patchwork

bluefire wigwag patchwork

This is a tube I got few years ago made by JP he had it in his gallery awhile back so its nothing no one hasent seen before just adding it too my gallery, Iv had it packed away an it was really dirty took some time today to clean it up an get a few shots of it with the matching slide I found which is made by a unknown but it really made it look nicer then cheapo clear one I had. Im sure why he dont make matching slides makes the peices look so much nicer then the clear prodo.

The Murky Green Sherlock

The Murky Green Sherlock

This is a mike fro peice I got well over a year ago at goodtimes, its been awhile since Iv bought any glass since they dea raided all the shops up here. I'm not sure if they are back to business yet ...maybe someone knows ? But anyway this is one my favorites day to day peices, I never got a chance to take any pics when I got it, so it got clogged til I had to shape it up..

Variety is the spice of life!!!

Variety is the spice of life!!!

This is my active daily collection that I switch up every few days, this picture is somewhat rare because the 3 tubes are never all clean at once. normally theres always one all nasty so I figured since I got them shaped up why not a picture.

These peices are all made from various artists on this site...props goto , JP, FRO, Cowboy & Mr. Anders for these pipes thanks guys for making them.

Support the artists !!!!!

~~JP TORO STEMLESS~~

~~JP TORO STEMLESS~~

This is the nicest tube in my collection right now it maybe alittle small compared to his new badass tubes (19 inches 14mm) but it packs a quick punch for its size. I picked it up in early 05' @ goodtimes, had it for awhile but then it suffered a accident, the disc base had broke I was pretty bummed. after some emailing JP hooked it up an repaired it for me. I just got it back earlier today an Im stoked. Here are the pics figured take some now before the tobbaco product goes though it. TORO TORO!

thanks JP an everyone for looking.

got me a free kiln... but will it work ?

got me a free kiln... but will it work ?

Okay so first off So somehow I got into talking to my mom about blowing glass an I brought up Im looking where to buy kilns even to check prices locally.. an pretty much my moms says "oh didnt I bring one of them back from philly (grandparents house)" an the search though my basement began lol. My grandparents used it to do ceramics an really it hasent been turned on in maybe 10 years. I dont see why it wouldnt operate they kept everything they owned in great shape (I havent tried to turn it on yet its 240volt an no spot to plug it in YET! . So this is part of my foundation for blowing. Some good luck an having somewhat artists in family has sure helped me out. BUT Okay I know its a dumb question , all my instints have told me it'll work for firing glass though a part of me isnt sure some reason because its so damn old early 80's old!!.. But it was stricky used for pottery. So im kinda asking a Question with this page , if this kiln works should I be all set to do glass with it ? Im 99% sure but Im a newb

My name is John from NH, I been buying glass since I was a teen, really have had big passion for the art & work was put into them, some day really interested in learning how to blow my own glass (would only make sence) just my life hasent put me much around people who know the torch.. hopefully someday that will change even like to take lessons somewhere, but until then I collect & admire. Most of what i collect is artists from here an some unknowns from festivals I just liked.

Thanks for looking.
