Heres a big ol' collab i busted out with Carsten Carlile and some assistance from my shopmate MarkG aswell...its a beast. 20" long-weighs 5 pounds....you get a better sense of scale when you check the "making" gallery i post -sorry-in some of the pix i just couldn't get the piece squared up...need a bigger background. >>><MarkG did the red and black bowties and pulled the stock for it aswell as the opal mibs.Carsten is on virtualy All the sculpting-and colored tube too.I assembled ,designed the piece and did the discflips and various other shit-the piece was concieved when i arrived in Carstens shop- to teach a class he was hosting(Pics on the way)-and i saw the first tikki head and we started bouncing ideas and next thing you know...blam-big ol' headdie was born!...we worked real smooth as a a team! thanks for everthing- carsten- mark and all the other dudes in Bend.i had an awesome time!
" I suddenly became stangely inebriated. The external world became changed as in a dream.Objects appeared to gain in relief; they assumed unusual dimensions;and colors became more glowing .Even self-perception and the sense of time were changed. When the eyes are closed, colored pictures flashed past in a quickly changing kaleidoscope. After a few hours, the not unpleasent inebriation, which had been experienced whilst I was fully conscious, disappeared. What had caused this condition ?" ~Albert Hofmann, Laboratory Notes (1943)
>>>Thanks for checking out my Art.<<<
