Inspired by a late night looking through Smiley's archives, I made the parts and let it sit for a month. Almost Too big for my kiln, 18 1/2 inches.

Long devision aint my thing but the numbers matched up in this peice. The can is a trippel stack section reversed. I weighed the sections to make sure I would have a clean place to push a bowl... that's science son.

gettin' a grip. this peice took 1/2 the time as the other 3 and still has 10 peices. those trippel inlay's take a long time so I left them out of this one, and I like this the best of them all...go figure.

just got up and running a week ago. still sore from digging a 45 foot trench for the electrical.

First collab...it went smooth. 45 sections and 15 hours each over two days. It was sweet to hand off a peice that big to another person and not flinch when they add a section or put a bridge on . WORD...

these are a custom order for Dope Ass Dist. out of Vegas. The large peice is all symetrical and my most complicated solo peice to date. These took me 5 full days, and I finished the big one on day three. I attached all the horns first and then minipulated them into place. this seemed to work ok. let me know what you think. sorry the photos suck. I am about to drop some cheddar on a photo set up so hopefully these will be some of my last crapy photos. bRoNx

lathe info
hey man just hittin you up about the lathe. im asking $5000 and ill throw in a nice litton 4 head cradle burner. i paid $6500 straight from heathway, and this thing has been impeccably maintained. im in dallas, so if you wanted to pick it up you could. it fits in a small uhaul trailer and is fairly easy to move. i can arrange shipping if you want. if thats the case there will be a nominal crating fee. let me know what you think or if you have any questions.
regards sam

Art Show January 27th
Featuring Glass Pipes, graffiti, fetish photography, all the stuff that makes art fun and contraversial. I'll be in Georgia for the month of January, and I'm trying to get a collab going at Jack and Tara's shop, they've got a lot of torches and kilns and all of us have room for a little extra knowledge. You down?

yo whats up. just checking out your gallery and enjoying it might i add. i noticed that your in Asheville, and im currently working out of charlotte and hating it. theres no one here to work with or even talk glass to at that. i love Asheville and am up there all the time. if you dont mind feeding some knowledge to a hungry young head im always down to meet some new people and melt some glass. my emails glassloverjont(at)yahoo.com if your interested. thanks for the local inspiration and keep it up

Thanks 4 the comment!
Acid washed was actually just a play on words using a 80's reference to blue jeans. I didnt actually acid etch it. Thanks for the tip though and sorry for the confusion. Also nice work!!
