~Seascape # 3~

This is the third Octopus Seascape piece in this series,...Props too Tim Lindemann for gettin my octopus techs.up to snuff...
This one is a 4 1/2 pound beast....
Sculptures sure do get heavy...13" tall X 6 1/2 wide...
The faceted piece was done by hand-on a lap wheel instead of a faceting machine so the cuts are simple and not quite perfect...two points were used for the entire hollow sections...
thanks for checkin this out ..pce.

" I suddenly became stangely inebriated. The external world became changed as in a dream.Objects appeared to gain in relief; they assumed unusual dimensions;and colors became more glowing .Even self-perception and the sense of time were changed. When the eyes are closed, colored pictures flashed past in a quickly changing kaleidoscope. After a few hours, the not unpleasent inebriation, which had been experienced whilst I was fully conscious, disappeared. What had caused this condition ?"

Darby...whazz up dude?..I've actually been rockin' the paperweight style base off and on for years now!(couple off examples in the art category of my gallery)....But I'll give you some Props anyway 'cause seeing that piece that you had with that base style recently Definately put the idea in back in my head -thanks.!!!PCE!!!

D>O>D...its all worked outside the kiln....but on really big stuff i've been known to grab a hand torch and dive on in ...

James -when you send out the 1/2 the loot for a deposit-I'll get right to work on your crab infested panties....and don't forget too send you actual crab infested panties so i got something model the piece after......lol.pce.
