This is my first inline. The gadget has 5 holes popped in the flame. I have been working on some new ones done the real way with slits cut instead of popped holes. These are really fun to make. Thanks Hops for posting your inlines. I've wanted to try one for a min. This is also only the 2nd skull I’ve made so it’s not the best, but I really like all the sculptural work out there and I wanted to try some. Stands two different ways! Just over 9 inches tall. Thanks for looking, -Feb 08

Tantric Death-goddess Kali Ma, Indian, 17th century. In many areas woman really did cannibalize the dead, with the benevolent purpose of becoming pregnant with their spirits and so giving them another birth. Even when cannibalism was replaced by symbolic imitations, such as rituals of sacrifice and communion, the Death-goddess was still represented by corpse eating creatures like vultures, crows, dogs, and swine.

This piece features a 19th century image of Baphomet, created by Eliphas Lévi. The arms bear the Latin words SOLVE (dissolve) and COAGULA (congeal).
There also is a self portrait of Aleister Crowley. "The devil is this serpent, Satan. He is life and love. He is light, and his zodiacal image is Capricornus, the 'leaping goat,' 'the god head '" - Aleister Crowley

This is the last piece of 2007 made on New Year’s Eve. In the summer of ’07 a good friend of mine died from a heart attack. He was a shop owner from a small town in the south west corner of Michigan on the lake. When I first started blowing glass in ‘03 my girlfriend suggested I take some stuff down to him. She grew up there and was friends with his daughter who also died in ’07 a month before him by suicide. Ever since we met he had my back on the glass tip. If all other sources were tapped out and I needed loot, he would always buy what I had even if he didn’t need it. This guy was old school about pipes. I literally never saw him without a pipe in his mouth or in his hand. He had more traditional wooden and carved pipes than glass pipes. This piece here is a glass version of that traditional style of pipe with the black stem and flattened mouth piece. Three other people close to me and my family died in 2007 so it seemed fit to end the year with an image of Death himself.

More Tribal. This theme comes from the ever-popular “tribal” tattoos. I’ve been coming up with a lot of ideas and images for this theme. I know some people who do tats so maybe I’ll see if they want to donate any of their artwork.

~Graal flame dubler with sand blasted white horns~
Celebrating 4 years of blowing glass. First time I fired up my torch was on St. Patrick’s day 2003 around 8:00am. I was up all night from the day before setting up the finishing touches in my shop. Back then I knew little about the scene and its history. Besides Adam G who was teaching me I only knew of Jason Lee and Clinton from pics in magazines. After I began I quikly learned about Mike Fro, Marcel, Ease and others. All of you have been a big influence for me since the beginning. This past year has been the busiest for me with glass, and family being my first year of fatherhood. In that year Bearclaw, Marbleslinger, Banjo, Smiley, Eusheen, and Pakoh have had a huge influence on me and have changed the way I approach glass.
Big props and thanks to all of you :) March 2007 - Peace

Each disk features a human Soul encased inside. I've been collecting for awhile now and just decided to incorporate this hobby with my passion for glass. Souls are expensive so I made this with all clear, but when I attached each disk color began to spread through the piece like the growth of crystals. The golden light you see is the Soul duh... ******No Souls were hurt during the making of this piece...just encased****** Oh yeah, this is my first snorkel carb too! 12/2006-Thanks for looking-Peace
