This piece is made up of 290 spoons. Each spoon is hand numbered so you can refer to a map and locate it in the flag ... on the front of each spoon there is an image of the flag baked on to it (that you can clearly see your spoon in).
This was a fun way to make a simple little piece part of something bigger.

the baked on image is ceramic decal it's like a glaze that gets fired on the glass.
