HMM... let me see if there is any explanitives that can harness the magnitude of my severe mental retardation. Oh heres tad bit of whats goin on in my dome piece. First off I'm a hardened biggot of Archie Bunker proportions, my only interests outside of glass consist of saw blade paintings, womanizing, narrow mindedness, baseball and a primitive fear of the unusual. Actually I'm a marxist, thats right ladies and gents I'm a fucking commie, Lenin and Stallin are my all time heroes, it was all about liberating our comrades from liberty and free thought thus delivering them into an abyss of mind control and horror. But since the end of the cold war and the demise of the soviet union, I spend most of my time masturbating and idolizing Nancy Reagan. Nothing excites me more than rodeos and redneck fuckin honkies spittin' chew and ridin dumb fucking cows until their subservient wives burst with litters of imbred offspring. Thanks for lookin at my glass!

24 sections plus mibby....tryin to experiment with different reversal variations, I got sick of doin the same old vertical stack wig-wags so I thought I'd try and change it up alittle. I like the way it turned out, my nipples started lactating the second the mouthpiece was done, its a 50/50 bowtie-wig wag from left to right or somthin....and the marble is turbo cobalt with fume n clear....got some neat colors....as usual i suck....blah blah blah. thanx, peace.

been doing mass prodo still, but I'm going to start makin a small headpiece every couple days, going to concentrate on cleanliness and some new shapes, or at least some variables of ones I already do. I really like this lil standup dry, its only like 6 inches or so. The hammer is my first coilpot, 19 pieces of cane and then encased in 8mil clear and reduced, thanx for lookin, hope I'll be posting alot again soon. peace.

it hovers, its magic. 13 tube sections + 2 coilpotted sections and solids. It rests on the two filagree horns on the bottom, allowing neither the moutpiece or the can section to touch the surface, from some angles it looks as if its hovering....oooooooooh. ar... ackackack. Imma glue ya nuts to ya dresser ya ya glue ya nuts to ya dresser and bang them shits with a spiked bat, wu-tang forever mothafunkas! tanx mahn! peaces.

Got a camera!! wooohooo! been a few weeks since I posted a couple bubs came and went without pics...but here's 5 pieces I've made in the last 2 weeks....
#1 Turbo Cobalt,orange,yellow,white,... port grey. 20 sections.
#2 & #3
Carlson suggested to me a few months ago to make a few clear bubs. I did make a couple solid clear ones and I liked em enough that I decided to do some clear with simple reversal work. This project helped with cleaning up seals and a clean downstem area, with nothing but clear you cant hide anything, thanx chris.
#4 Amythyst tube with gold and silver fume trap reversals, love the colors woot!
#5 Coilpotted Chinese red with a lil warm yellow and amber purp encased with clear. also neat colors.
And a super sexy pic of myself a friend took while I was cameraless, I kept this bub.
Thanx for lookin!

36 tube sections deep. Randy made the killer whale and the hearts attachment and what was a rose a few months ago, once resting peacfully on a shelf the jolly green doug knocked them off onto the floor, so the sprout on the back is a branch off what was a rose and the heart attacment thing is minus one tendral. Damnz. If i had made those attachments I wouldn't have explained any of that shit. But for some reason I felt it necassary.
the whale is life, the hearts are death, the sprout is new life. Cha-CHing! gimmick sold.
been doin mass prodo this felt good.
I need to get a new camera bad as fizzuck I took like 30 pics and these were the only ones that werent just a pure black/blank .jpg. lameness.
thanx for lookin.

25 sections of super sexy satanic sweetness. I made the can a couple months ago when Randy was here, this was gonna be the "hate" bub, Randy's attachments got knocked off a shelf in my "office type room" and broke so I decided to change up the theme but still keep it all angry like....this thing was super fun to make, I think I like bubs with a "theme" type deal....anyway I'm pretty stoked on the way it turned out, nice and morbid lookin....
Influences include SATAN, old death metal like Obituary, Deicide and Cannibal Corpse. Also drew some influence from a hammerbub Dosher posted a few months back, shield was like a pitchfork with some crazy shit and ill ass little symbols n shit, i think it was pretty much the same colors as this, I can't remember.
Mass energy.
Thanx for lookin. Respect.

29 section sherlock bub. 13 section dry hammer, 4 section gong bowl, 4 section jar and 5 section pocket spoon. My first "full" set, that is more than 2 pieces. Was hella fun to make, I was smiling the whole time I was sweatin' this bub was the butterzone baby!
Almost finished with our new shop!!! woohooooo! pics of that comin soon. Until then its back to the prodo grind to finish payin for the new shop....2 sides to every coin. Insert whip cracking sound effect here. Back to Work!!!
thanx for lookin -y2n8

Forced Perk, 9 1/2 inches, 28 sections + solid attachments, this is going out on a limb but I think the shield is the only time I've seen this particular re-ball configuration. blah blah I suck ass too much prodo as of late.
The flux capicitor is the device which makes time travel possible. 88 spirals per hour is the speed at which time travel takes place. Wow, I'm a fuckin lame ass.

21 hollow sections + all the horns and mib n shizzle dizzle. This was way outisde of my box, where I plan on building my new box.
It chuggggggz like a mofo.

Heyas thanks for the comment.
Sure I'd be up for some colab when you're down this way, sounds like good fun. My roomie is a glassblower too (considerably better than me), I'm sure he'd throw down as well. I should be raging a Barracuda by then, and my roomie and his GF have a couple of Red Maxes, plus several kilns between us, we should be able to set something up.
Going to hit you up on myspace, add me back and keep in touch!

buy some dichroic alchemy dichro. its really easy to use. my friend had some cbs dichro awhile back and i found it to be much harder to use, could just be me though. the DA starship tical seems to be a pretty easy one to work with. i usually take a a small section from a strip of dichro and encase it completely (non-dichro side and edges too so it stays thick) with 4mm clear. then i encase it again on the dichro side. once i have that, i'll get it all melted in good before i back it with a color. if i'm making a galaxy, i'll twist it up while its pretty floppy so it doesnt trap any air bubbles. thats how i do it, hope it helps...just dont get it too hot. when you are heating up your rod to encase, make sure its not too molten or it scorches the dichro right when it touches. patience is key when it comes to dichro...

if you want a quick run down, prep your bridge to the exact size your going to want it by holding it next to your piece then touching up if need be.....when ready to attach, pre heat both ends of bridge and both spots on the piece where the bridge will go, maybe get your first connection point hotter than the 2. then slap on and hit up you first connection point first then back to the other and back and forth till all is melted in, make sure its melted in all around both connections, that might be your problem. try and do it all at once dont do it half way then throwit in the kin and try to do the rest, im guessing your connections are melted in all the way though. never seen in person but thats my guess.

oh shit i so know the feeling of fiending for some glass only to be broken like the final result. shitty that you guys have a lot of imports... but think of it this way... the only glass at boston hempfest is the 1 booth a year selling import shit (my friend got one, broke it and the lines weren't even fully melted in!!!) but these people get so much shit stolen from them every year, so karma gets them a little... really badass you sold everything, def. something to be very proud of.

3..
there is prob only one vendor because boston hempfest is just stupid... it makes the cause look more like a joke and people are arrested all over the place... some dude even asked a friend of mine and I if we'd want to make some "movies" with him.... seemed like a child rapist (i was about 16 at the time)... actually, come to think of it... there was another vendor selling trash beads, and one more sketched out as could be selling pipes in a hidden booth... but yea, boston hempfest.... ha pathetic... i was going for the train ride (they let everyone start the fest on the train) but last year they didn't even let that happen... seems to get worse and worse each year, but i still go for the hell of it.

nate try to make tube pulls
Pre cut the rods 2 and a half inchs long or just 2 " them clamp them over a tube i use 16 color rods on a 1" tube them punty up to the other side of the color rods . try to make your punty extra big with 1 and 1/4 " tube. after you punty up have a big clear section ready to go. slide it over and brige up the bottom. then start melting from the top down keep it straight and blow it out and condencing it 3 to 5 times. Pull it good and straight and it will work just like clear tube, all most by the time you work out the tube and make it into a section it will be perfect do it bro good luck. PEACE BEAN

Reggae rising is so close to me. I have a side job in ukiah which is 15 min from the sight. And my house in forestville is about an hour from there. So yes Im down. Or even just to kick it.

Oh, and that piece is..Im guessing cause its been 8 or 9 months since I made it. In the stand its like 9-10" tall, 6-7 front to back, and 9-10 side to side. That base is a huge chunk of solid. I worked mucho hard on it.

In all honesty I'm not a festy kind of guy. In fact Ive never been to one. The real truth is I cant afford to dedicate 3 days to partying and stuff. I just cant. I feel like if I were to try to sell glass there I couldn't make anything too nice because everyones money is tied up in food water and drugs. Mine would be anyways. Also I would lose my mind being subjected to 3 days of non stop reggae. Dont get me wrong, I like Reggae, just not force fed down my throat. And I don't trust hippies. Just a few pre-conceived opinions. Although I have heard a few arguments against my case, so maybe I should look into it.
Right now I only have a 2 station shop but I think we could make it work. Weve got time to figure it out.
Dude I came across this thing you said that I can really relate to,
"if you ever meet me you'll be like wow, that guys a complete nervous wreck on the verge of a complete psychotic episode. I'm not confident yet, actually i reduce myself to tears, sweats and shakes when i do a piece like that"
So my life story. Ive had days just so frustrated Tearing my hair out, head in my hands, throwing glass. Basically a temper tantrum. I really had to take a step back and ask myself weather or not I could realistically do this. Its a every day hustle man. Keep your pimp hand strong.

True that. There always is a flip side, and it really is dependent upon the person. Maybe I shouldn't be so judgmental. In reality the majority of my friends are hipped out. I just dont trust anyone who gives me some fake ass name. It seems like a cover so when they rip you off you wont be able to track them down. Im a biggot.
Yea, see, I couldn't imagine it being like that. Now that I think about it, they wouldn't have festys if they wernt profitable. (from a business standpoint) I guess there are ballers cruising around the scene. If thats really whats up then maybe Im missing out. Even if we dont get to make anything Im down to party with ya.

word, one of the best things i learned is,don't use stuff your not stoked on... be realistic and ask yourself if it will make the piece better. throw it on your prodo.. use the best for your headdies.

working glass is not only one of the most frustrating things ive ever done, it is one of the most ZEN. while you have time off with your dental work, try reading some books by or about the Dalai Lama,,, might help with the zen aspect of not being attached to your outcome, to just live in the moment...i used to smash alot of pieces on the sidewalk my first year or two, it gets easier to deal with after much practice in failure :)
