a week before the trade show at my most hectic time in my shop banjo decided to do a lesson/ collab with mike luna, at my place. I was so excited to have them both come at the same time. I knew I would be very busy but any knowledge I could soak up would be well worth the extra work. So here r a few shots off my cell for u all to see. oh by the way this piece was made without a pyrometer cause my cress analogue one took a shit, and this is the piece banjo apparently kicked across the floor at the show to prove how sturdy it was, I guess. banjo, luna, adam, n I guess myself were a bunch of savages that week on our torches it was awesome, I love u guys thanks for everything

mad mad props to banjo for all the training and inspiration. mostly thanks to banjo for making me realize that I can go bigger that nothing was stopping me and that this biz has a lot of love if you surround yourself with the right people. never in a million years did I think I would win first place in functional sculpture at the first femaleflameoff but I did. thanks for lookin it means a lot to me. i'm just stoked to have shared that day with a bunch of other killer girls who all were bad ass glass blowers. And without roze it never would have been a success. banjo I love your spirit and way of thinking thanks so much for taking time out of your life to help me find my way in mine.~lisa oh I can't forget to thank drew for lettin me come in and crash the shop for a couple days, that was awesome. and thanks to money for the color strech lesson, for the caramel, and great company I really had fun. last but not least I wanna say thanks to clinton for the directions and letting me see your new shop.

I made this in three hours n had to quick cool it cause I was runnin late....and it made it without issue. I messed up the seal on the to though, but it stood n since I was outta time I said fuck it. by the way yesterday adam n I had our eight year wedding anniversary. so after the cup we went to the seedless Barrington Levy with Eek a Mouse. I never had such a good stoney 420. Thanks for lookin, n thanks to banjo for the last minute phone lesson. Piece~Lisa

I love glass blowing almost as much as my family. i've been blowing glass for almost eight years, starting in soft glass and now in flame working. my parents are both bronze casting sculptors. Dad with country western style, and my mom with more european and contemporary flare. My grand father was also a sculptor of country western art from montana, Earl Erin Heikka. Art is my life. -Lisa

Good job, I also misssed the women flame off, unfortunatly. My shop is in the N.W.suburbs of Chicago. I also know Rose and Matt. Anytime you're in town, give a hollar, I always have room in my shop for stragglers! Peace
