awesome piece! do you still make those pieces with the crushed opals in the sections? i remember awhile back marbleslinger posted some pics on a different forum and there was one or two of them. crazy stuff, very impressive and rare. i think i've only seen one other one since then. i'd love to see more if you still make them.

Crushed opals
Those pieces were a real bitch. I've only made jars of that style recently. It's no fun when a ten pound piece detonates in the buyers home. Opals are the best!

that is crazy, marbleslinger never posted pics of a 10 pounder with crushed opals. they were just smaller funky dry pieces. i've actually never worked with opals before. are they pretty unstable with glass or something, especially when crushed? again though, sweet piece, love your style.
