preheat in kiln and add a little more..
lay some nice thick lines..i let it fall on the tubing...
after a few line s or so.. its good to reheat..((heat management is key here}}
after all lines are on.. melt them in smooth..marving with your paddle..just remember what your gonna sleeve this with and try for that diameter.these sizes work great together
while hot..encase color with 60 mill sleeve
after encaseing..you will start the melting process..start heating from the left to the right..heat a section piss hot and marv the air out..your looking for a nice smooth color to clear look...you will repeat this until all bubbles are out..
now..i heat this mass up piss hot and roll it on my graphite a few time just to ensure roundness
after that..it is time for the meltdown.... heat it up evenly & piss hot...just remember you want it to pull evenly too. so use your brain!
piss hot folks..
a nice smooth flowing pull..not to fast and not to slow...
you will figure out the pull rate depending on size of tubing you prefer
thats about as far as i can go here...i cut it off at the end &..set it in the kiln and pull it out later too..
there is also a huge nub in the kiln..
butter
this is the most consistent and the nicest to work..--i think__--so i hope you can get something here...cheers..
