This piece is a tribute to my incredibly good looking friend, Derek Zoolander. I hear Magnum is gonna blow them away.

...Willing to sacrifice our love. Now with more pictures this is actually a very warm and kind piece once you get to know it. The spikes are a manifestation of it's inner insecurity, a reaction to an overly competitive, insensitive world. Thank you Marcel and Devron at Living Glassworks for my new Intari kiln. I am having so much fun with all the extra space, and i'm sure Clinton appreciates not having me clog his kiln up all the time.

27" tall natural perk from October 06. this was a significant piece for me. It is one of the few works i've done which has real emotional content for me.
Jared Delong (a.k.a. Cutty) did a fantastic job on the metal work. And Clinton - in lieu of my usual mentor, Banjo - gave me the necessary guidance to bring this piece to fruition.
Thanks for stoppin by.

This piece stands 27" tall with a 12 x 12" base. The vessel detaches from the blasted root system. Most of the vines are hollow, and she holds water quite nicely. I really enjoyed the creation of this piece.
Thank you Clinton for the generous use of your facilities (my kiln wasn't big enough) and inspiration - What up Summit Collective!
This piece was finished in November 06 thank you for looking. Come on back now, Ya hear?

Approx 18" tall. Made for the Champs show last summer (thanks Rolling High). i thought the SS - i mean homeland security was going to confiscate it at the airport on the way there. This was the first of many pieces i had to finish at Clinton's before i got my Intari kiln last winter. thanks for stopping by, more to come soon.

I fell in love with glass in 2001, hanging with Banjo and Obie. One day they let me make a marble, and it was all over for me. Lately, I have been trying to focus on the ceremonial nature of smoking. The action itself is a sacred endeavor, and i believe the instrument should be able to reflect and enhance that. "Any fumbling of the pipe will inevitably result in your or my death" - Don Juan. I must give my deepest appreciation and respect to Banjo, who taught me nearly everything, and to Chaz, Obie, Drew, and Shad, who showed me the rest. Thanks and respect also to Clinton, Lucio, Mickelsen, and so many others who have inspired so many of us young'uns. ADVICE: glass is very much like a woman. If you want to understand it you must begin with care and respect. You can't force glass, you can only work WITH it. thank you for visiting, and keep having fun!
