JUNE 6TH- JUNE 7TH 2011

This class will explore the “compression” technique used to make flowers and other deeply encased designs, utilizing solid rods of borosilicate into marbles and pendants.

Students will learn color overlays & tooling tricks for more interesting layered petal and leaf designs. There will be a strong emphasis on heat & flame management and why "compression" is the dynamic force in this technique.

*Intermediate to advance students recommended.
