2005- hamm made a giant crazy spoon on the lathe, getting cut off very close to the end. He didnt get to finish the mouthpiece and was disqualified from the competition- much to the dismay of all the spectators!
2006-pakoh and marbleslinger made a hammer(pipe by slinger) and a glass hammer (pakoh) and smashed the two together and melted it. This project WAS accepted into the competition and even won a prize!! It was quite exciting, but I didn't get any pictures. look at chris carlson's gallery for a bunch of good ones. Also, nate-dizz made some cool pieces with sherlock shaped components inside them-in which his pendant took first prize for wearables!

I have been working glass since 1998, professionally since 2001. Mostly I do huge production orders for a distributor-it's a decent job. Sometimes, I get a chance to have fun and make some cool stuff. I believe the goal of any artist is self-expression; and this is the goal I am trying to work toward. Life, art, nature, and music are my main sources of inspiration. Thanks for looking:)
