I'm really trying to show off the Trichome marble and mibs that I've been doing lately. The marbles look like magnified trichromes... it's pretty cool :)
These are some Alien Tech slides and my homemade Alien Tech ripoff (the disk slide) as well as the marble that got me thinking
Made the slides this week, the marble was made Dec. '09

I made this with Nate from Euphoria Glassworks, and Grant up in Grants Pass. Thanks for the hospitality guys. I had a great time hanging out with you!!
Nate did the blue tubing and made the curly-q, Grant did the dichro flowers and ribbon cane, I did the patternwork from Nates tubestock and assembled the piece

I recently got to take another trip up north. I did a few collabs and got to keep this one I did with Cripskillz. He did the honeycombs, the mouthpiece and wing, I did the patternwork, all the attachments and put the badboy together. I really like this piece and think I meshed our 2 different styles together pretty well
Thanks for your hospitality Crip!

Thank you guys for your hospitality!!
These pics are from a tube I worked on with Brock and Jake C. Brock did the bottom sections, I did the middle, Jake did the top. Jake did the assembly of the tube. We each made slides for the tube set and we even got TFunk to throw in a slide for the set.
Had a blast with you guys!!

A sculptural direction for me. Most definitely Midas, Shelbo, and Cripskillz inspired. I really like sculpting and plan to divide my time between patternwork and sculptural work

I've been messing around with a lot of different color combos lately and just wanted to simplify a bit. I really want to explore this series in more depth and have plans for a larger volume of work based off of this

Finally something that looks like it's supposed to :) I just got back from a private class with Eusheen, and man I am so excited about glass again!! Eusheen was an AWESOME instructor, teaching me what I needed to know to really get my work better, cleaner, tighter, and sexier. I know I learned an incredible amount of tech to add to my bag of tricks! I feel like everything I saw and learned is stuck inside me like Peanut Butter on the Brain. Eush acted as a guide watching me work and helping out when things got crazy (which they did more than once), and I give him MAD PROPS. (Thanks Eush!!) He really helped me see beyond the functionality into the aesthetics of design... yes a bubs a bub, but sleek curves and organic motion defiantly make pieces pop. I made the blingy black tubing with jet black encased in disco, and due to lack of time Eush let me use a chunk of patterned tubing he had laying around. If you are thinking about hitting him up. DO IT!

Jet Black, Parramore White, Tomato Red. Can't beat a simple color combo.
With each piece I make and spend time on from pulling the tube to working the reballs and putting it all together, I find myself more aware of how the patterns are gonna fit together, I find myself paying more attention to the detail of shape, proportion, and the line visually overall.
Every piece complete is a testament to my movement forward in this art, and a huge glare of all the places I fell short.
Here's to forward movement

This was my first half dichro tube pull... I used Jet Black, Orange Crayon, and Parramore White for the othe colors... the dichro burned out while I was making the reballs, and spiraling out the sections. I was bummed, but the end result still looks pretty cool.

This was a collab with Tyme and Chubz and myself. We got so far with the first phase and then the piece got well fubar. So we salvaged what we could and here is one of the fixed up pieces, and I have another section to make another piece with. I always have a good time collabing... no matter what

Every piece I make I try to push my own limits...
I gotta give props to the following people: Steve Fish, Petto, Tyme, Eusheen, Nathan Miers, Darby Holm, Brock, Mike Fro, BC, N3rd, and Nathan Hussy. -- You've helped me along the way and I am truly grateful :)
I am striving to be clean, detailed, and flawless in my work... each piece I work on I try to focus on everything from aesthetics to functionality...
