Beginner, I just got my first set, haven't had any instruction, Trying to get any help available. I have a huge problem with running my torch at the proper heat and I haven't really figured much out at all. Most of what I have made so far has cracked either in progress or very shortly there after (like sitting on the table)

I am having trouble with running it properly, any advice or tips would be really appreciated

start small
stick to pulling nice strait stringers, controlling a molton gather of solid glass, and more practice.. you'll start to figure it out, watch your pregression

freeman corbin...
it looks like youve already put a bit of cash down so id say spend another few bucks and get freeman corbins essential lampworking series..theres alot of good info in those videos...then try to find some lessons.....good luck !

damn, that reminds me of a lil over a year ago when i was doin that shit. some stuff u have no control over...
some glass cracks cause it doesn't wanna b encased in clear, some glass cracks cause it doesn't wanna b next to a certain color, some cracks cause u let it get too cold; there are a ton of reasons. Take a class and that'll def help. peace.
