(Dry Pieces)

Wake the Sleeping Giant Hi Im Salt in case we havent met. Im new to this site and the reaction to my work has inspired me to make more and reach a little further. This piece was off the top, except for the eyes. Its uh my new kick and its really fun. I like alot of music that could be described as underground hip hop. The idea of the "freestyle" ryhme has allways intriged me. I sort of realized by accident that I could apply it to my work. This is the result. Thanks for looking. keep it hot.

Hi I'm Salt. I love what I do. I am very excited to be a part of this site and thus the "scene." Everyone has been very enthusiastic and welcoming since I posted. Thanks I wasnt sure what you guys,(and gals), would think. I would like to give respect to those who have inspired me and through the work they have developed helped me see what is possible.

I frst saw the work of one Scott Deppe in a California shop in 2001. I was 6 months behind the torch. I was only a few inches away from work that, well you just have to see it.
Two years later I met Scott at a gas confrence in Seatle. He had these Dragon spoons. If you've never seen one then I'm sorry. Scott's work helped me to realize what is possible and that there are no rules, just ideas, and thermodynamics.

This list could go on for a long time. It includes artists from many mediums, I know its lame but I have missspelled some names Im sure, I'll try to fix them asap. Loren Stump, William Morris, Ricky Swallow, Dondi, Milton Townsend, Picaso, Kozic, Robert Mickleson, Jared Delong, Alex Gray, Aesop Rock, Harold W. Cooney, Clinton, Bearclaw, MURS, DJ Shadow, Shepard Farley, Bansky, Sage Frances, Jason Lee, Marcel, and most recently, Smiley, JAG, Mr Gray, Banjo, and Im going to add more latter, right now I need sleep.

cool pieces man, I just read your profile too, Scott Deppe is fuckin nuts, I saw some of his stuff at the tonasket barter faire this year, absolutely incredible, also snodgrass showed me a lil black spoon that guy did with an eyeball in the back and arms and hands and all sorts of shit just barely visible in some spots, also got a picture of that demon castle piece him and ivan at nebula made, mad cool.

Sorry about the drama at your shop, having your trust violated is not only very hurtful but in most cases insulting. Hope you guys can work it out without to many fireworks. Keep posting you kick ass dood!
