Well, this is the first bubbler I have made in 6 or 7 years..

2nd bubbler I have done in 6 or 7 years... Unfortunately I went blindly into this one and used super unobtanium (not thinking) for my horns.. They keep crackling even after ramping it down 25 degrees an hour for a couple days.. I spent a week fighting this thing, and finally gave up after slumping the front disk a bit and divitrifying the crap out of it the whole battle.. Anyhow, I figured I'd at least post what I came out with.. Bummer.. She's about 20 inches long.. Stemless bub..

High! My name is James. I live in Oregon and started blowing glass in 1992. I sold ALOT of glass on dead tour, phish tour, and other festivals back in the day, as well as through my webpage. Most of my pieces were signed with a "J.S."... I used to own a web domain called www.jamesglass.com throughout the 90's to about 2001.. I took a 6 or 7 year long break due to some personal drama.. I also had a Heathway glass lathe stolen and some other equipment as well, which didn't help.. Anyhow, I'm back.. I pulled out my old herbie and jumped back on the torch the beginning of March 08'.. Its been a looong while.. Here's a few pieces I have made recently.. I also posted some pieces from back in the day.. I have always loved glass, and dont plan and taking any more "breaks".. =)
