2nd bubbler I have done in 6 or 7 years... Unfortunately I went blindly into this one and used super unobtanium (not thinking) for my horns.. They keep crackling even after ramping it down 25 degrees an hour for a couple days.. I spent a week fighting this thing, and finally gave up after slumping the front disk a bit and divitrifying the crap out of it the whole battle.. Anyhow, I figured I'd at least post what I came out with.. Bummer.. She's about 20 inches long.. Stemless bub..

I live in Oregon and started blowing glass in 1992. I sold ALOT of glass on Dead tour, Phish tour, and other festivals back in the day, as well as through my webpage, www.jamesglass.com. I had this domain throughout the 90's until about 2001.. Most of my pieces were signed with an amber purple "J.S." on the bottom of the can... I then took a 6 or 7 year long break due to some personal drama.. I also had a Heathway glass lathe and some other equipment stolen, which didn't help.. So, anyhow.. I'm back.. I pulled out my old herbie and jumped back on the torch the beginning of March 08'.. Here's a few pieces I have made recently.. I also posted some pieces from back in the day.. I have always loved lampworking, and dont plan and taking any more "breaks".. Props to all the old schoolers still spinning glass.. =)
