The day got off to a pretty smooth start. No majors bugs had to be worked out, since we all brought what we needed and planned it out well. (all except for staying up too late the night before! heheeh)

This thing turned out so nice, but it cracked. Allot of work went into this, it was about 22 inches tall.
The amazing thing about this piece, is it had about pieces from 10 different artists at many different skill levels. We really tried to go for a piece that incoorerated everyone, including soft glass. We will remake the vessel, but it wil not be this nice, we don't have the time or money now. But we will make somthing!

We took our second vesell down to the Eugene Glass School, for MIke Plane to spin, but it exploded too! The glass flew almost 10 feet it was so powerful! Mike T. had brought the pieces he cut on the wet saw, from the first vessel, and while everyone was standing there wondering what to do next, Mike P. was grabbing the pieces from the first exploded vessel! He got them chucked up to the lathe, and then MIke T. warmed up the cold piece while mike took the exploded vessel over to his delta and cut off the edges to make it even. By the time he got back to the lathe, the piece from the first vessel was all warmed, and by some miracle, Mike and Mike got it attached to the second vessel, but they couldn't blow it since it was open on the end! So, we found the end from the first vessel, which MIke T. had left on the punty by some odd coincidence, and he warmed it up without exploding it, and they chucked it up, and saved the piece! So now, we have 2 exploded vessels, and one with parts from both to make up our
