Happened to walk in just in time to see Arty do this in the Cowboy class here in Austin...gotta love freebies. My first blow in/blow out/stuff-n-puff...I'm gonna call it blowing my wad. Asian black tubing is my bitch...she works hard for me...she loves me...and I love her.

Once upon a time there was a mighty glassblowing queen who had grown tired of making pipes. She found it hard to be inspired by anything. She barely put food in the palace cupboards. She was sad and poor. Then one day she met a brilliant artisan. She shared with him her creativity and color matching ability, and he shared with her technique and the magic of straight handles and smooth welds. He told her to reign over her kingdom of pipe shops with a powerful hand. From that day forward she worked hard and sold glass and all was good in the Kingdom of Bob. I have been inspired and helped by many artists along the way and I am forever indebted to all of you. Much love to all the Austin boys who share freely and always make me feel welcome. My most heartfelt thanks go to Mr Smith, who has not only shown me how to make everything, but molded me in to a professional glassblower. He has crazy talent and I am lucky to have him as my shop mate and his brain at my full disposal. I am hungry for knowledge. Feed me with your comments and critique. ART...it's what's for dinner.

Here's a freebe for u. Try ribbed tube fume w/ gold silver combo spin it up, then stuffn'puff the black behind it. My mistique series is all metallic green like this.
