The year is 2025, 13 years past the predicted end of the world but only two years past the failure of peace talks. World war three breaks out in 2023, much of Earth is covered in nuclear fallout and the ocean has moved several hundred miles inland. As a result of this, strange beasts start to appear morphed genetically resembling earlier forms of dinosaurs. One of these cousins of the previous species is the rhinoctaphent. Found off the coast of Africa{ formally the Serengeti} This beast is formed from elephants, rhinos, octopus, and the sperm whale. The eyes of the beast have moved into the ears giving the face room for spearing tusks. Note the ears have become finned for reverse steering, which is also aided by an eye located at the rear of the creature allowing 360 degree vision. The creature is amphibious and is an accurate hunter but is both a carnivore and herbivore and is one the most deadly predators on both land and sea.

Made on July 25th.

Merc: Made on July 25th. This is part of my new series Eco_logically incorrect which reflects mans effect on our planet with a "what if" feel to it. This is not my first rhinoctaphent, in fact Brian Woo gave it the name during my sea fantasy sculpting class held at Bridging Boro in Portland during Gas. The one made there turned into a large collab in which we ended up running out of time finishing, however we fully intend on having another round at it asap!! Hope you enjoy it!!
