Well folks its been long enough and now its time to show you all one of the ideas that I been working on since mid 2009. This beast represents a new approach for me, and a progression of the evolutionary theme that I have allways put into my work. This character Sithek Bufect represents the movement of my work in reaction to the huge wave of work that carries a similar feel and look to my origional "Salt" style. My effort to remain origional has allways been important to me however I would be remiss without a mention of certain influences both within and without the glass pipe community. First and formost I have to tip my hat to Banjo who has continually reformed my preception of what is possible technically and has allways been a huge inspiration. Also the interaction with and the exposure to the work of Zach Pukawitz has been a great influnce. It seems that it might have been easier for me to continue down the path that I have allready paved making the style of work that I am known for. However if I am to remain honest to my self and the concepts that I believe add so much potency to my pieces then certain elements of my body of work must be retired. That said I will no longer make the constricted snapper slides that have been so popular. Once I finish the last few that I have allready prepped for I will never make this product again. I want to thank the entire ecosystem that makes up our community for its support and feed back. I am honored to count my self as a member of this movement and I strive promote and nurture it however possible.
