After the DFO, Devon & I went to visit Turtle for a few days...Last year I had posted pics up of some crazy spiders that were surrounding my house (8-10 HUGE spiders with large egg sacks)and Turtle had said that I should make a spider fairy...so we brainstormed & we came up with an idea that turned into much more than we expected & we had lots of fun, but didnt finish the piece by the time we had to leave, so heres the pictures of what we got finished(Photos by Devon Marino)...Turtle made the buds and the stems & I made the fairy, hopefully there will be finished pics soon :)

This is the piece I made at the Degenerate Flameoff in Eugene...I finished the glass in time, but spent the next 16hours putting this whole thing together, so I wasn't done in time for the judging...Its a Wedding boquet, inspired by my best friends wedding a week before the event...Every flower is a seperate pipe & the centers are pokers embelished with Swarovski Crystals. Each flower has a ground joint as the mouth piece and fits into the females on the boquet base...the center piece is a small black water pipe with a black rose female piece & red skull pull out (that is also smoking a small pipe). The entire boquet has a large ground joint handle that fits into a fitting that is UV glued to a large smokey quartz crystal cluster (as a base...it can also be a center piece)

I learned to make eyeballs from Master Eyeball maker Walter Hellbach. These are some simple spoons made out of boro practicing the techniques I learned from him a few years ago (using Lauscha glass)...They started out as just something simple to make with some practice eyeballs I had lying around my shop, now I have orders for them like crazy! The eyeballs themselves take me at least an hour (unless you add the 2-4 hours of mixing colors for each different shade)

Gremlin dropped by my studio during my first class to guest Demo...about 1/2 way through he said "hey make something to stick on here", so I made the flower. Its our first kinda colab but not the last...look for more soon! (check out pics from the class on GA) Photos by Chris Young

Glass "brass" knuckles with faceted spikes, ground flat on both sides and across the front knuckles with D.H.H. written in them...the solid chunk of black across the bottom and the thick solid fingers make make the pipe inside the hand safe from breaking on impact...These are the first prodotype of this idea...inspired by & made for my boy Tommass...the pics are not good because i realized as i gave them to him after drinking at a show that i needed pics & it was hard to get anyone to set them down or hold them still long enough for good pics...i will be making more & will put up better pics soon!

The fairy is NS pink and the bubbler itself is mostly the Pink tube. One of the mushrooms in the front is a jar. The pull out stamen are IO with gold fume. After seeing my last bondage fairy a friend ordered 5 fairy pieces, this is the first of that order.

This is a double mushroom bub with a sanded scientific pullout, a fitted poker top & dicro grass blade lighter holder, along with a matching jar, chillum with poker & mini jar and a onie.....A good friend ordered these pieces...well he ordered the double mushroom and the Jar but then I just kept going with additions and matching pieces, and he ended up very happy with them all

These were so much fun to make and I'll be making lots more different skull designs in other colors soon....These are the 3rd and 4th ones in this series...the colored one is made with silver amethyst tube and rod....Unfortunately I didn't get very good pics of these pieces before they were gone...The Clear fumed one was especially difficult to photograph the detail...its hard to make out that he has a packed mini pipe in his mouth...not having decent pics of these pieces prompted me to start learning better glass photography! so hopefully better pics to come...

I've started making a few of these lately. This was one of the first 2. From that has now stemmed a double mushroom bubbler and then another more detailed double mushroom bubbler (pics soon to come) as well as mushroom jars & onies & one like this one with a raver hello kitty sitting on it with some glowing uranium dots/wings/jewelry

Hello Kitty has a black top, rainbow pants & a ruby/disco sparkle skirt. She has ruby/disco over uranium wings and a uranium necklace and bracelet. I made a rainbow butterfly instead of her usual bow and she is holding a rainbow swirled lolly pop. The mushroom top also has uranium dots and swirls in the stem. I tried to get pics of the uranium glowing under black lights, it wasn't easy, and these are the best I could get...This piece was ordered by a friend for his cute little raver girlfriend Kelly's 21st birthday. She loves hello kitty and he really liked the mushroom pieces I had shown him so I made hello kitty chillin on a shroom.

This bubbler was just something fun I decided to try after making a few dry shrooms...it actually inspired a much nicer cluster of mushrooms that i finished last week...pics of those are up now!

These aren't very good pics but they are the only ones I have. This piece was made for my very good friends Tammy and Brian in July 2003. It features a solid white fairy with amber purple nipples, hair and wings. Sitting on a hobnailed mushroom and holding a flower with a black opal encased in the center. Each of the flowers has something different in the center as well as the marbles around the base. There is also a twisted dicro wrap going around the tube and a flower at the top with a small blue fairy with black wings, nipples and hair reaching into the center of the flower. The pull out is thick inside out with a doughnut and two large flowers, one with an encased herkimer diamond in the center. Click on the pic to see more angles and details.

Once again, not the best pics. This is the first sculptural pipe I've made in almost a year. My friend Angie ordered it over 6 months ago and has been wonderfully understanding! This sherly bubb features a Bondage Fairy wearing stiletto heels, blindfold, collar, and white gloves with her hands tied behind her back. The wings are attached from her back both at the mushroom and the flower, so although it looks very fragile it is actually quite sturdy. There is a large flower on the stem and the middle mushroom in the back is a jar.

This is mostly cobalt tube, a donut behind the bowl with a spike going through the center. this is the first skull I've sculpted out of glass (can't seem to get very good pics of the detail)....came about from a guy asking me to make him a piece...very vague... he says blue and yellow sherlock style with a skull and a jar.....this is what came out of his request........my skulls now (in 2007) have evolved so please check them out (and ignore this one :)!

Glass Inspired hair...OH YEA! I haven't been able to think about anything but glass for quite a while now, so of course when my friend came to me with a bleached head and we started brainstorming on hair color ideas, I said oooooooooohhhhhhh..... Let me switchback your head! After a brief discussion of "your not gonna fuck up my head are you?" he let me! And it turned out neat as hell....there are pics with the dye in and I'm about to go take some more pics of it after he washed it! Its bad ass!

Julz!!! I Love and NEED some Fairy work done!!
PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! contact me! I really need a bubbler with Fairy's on it and I need it quick. I have an urgent need for a "Tinkerbell" pipe, water preferably. If not then I would like to find a "Cute" ferry style water pipe for a very special friend. It will be used in a addition to a marriage proposal. I need it by oct 28th. Any help you could give me in finding it would be FAN FRICKEN TASTIC!!! Thank you in advance. "getaholdofme.AT.hotmale.kom"
