these are pics taken some time ago, before 'The Project' was even considered. they have been up here for a while. i didn't end up using 'ratti design 2' on it, but 1 and 3 are in there. design 1 ended up being the 'gold mandala', though the color burnt out a bit, and 3 is the cross-hatched stem section.

this is the whole piece. you can see the profile tube in the centre, which needs to be removed, and the surrounding area drawn to a point, completing the termination

my name is Dan, and i've been on a torch since '99 in BC Canada. i'll continue to play with glass and fire 'till i cut and burn my hands off... at that point i'll have to learn to spin with my feet! cant get enough of this stuff.
