Been making lots of oldschool sherlocks lately... this one is very vibrant... way more than anything I've made in quite some time... the wigged bowties on the can are so tight that its hard to make them out in these pics.... dig...

This is a quick sherlock that I made yesterday... done in the unmistakeable Fro/Shad style which I thought was interesting.... I've always been such a fan of very traditional sherlocks... so this was a real departure from my usual sherlock technique... had lots of fun with it... I also threw in a really techy pull apart that I have never seen anywhere else.... over all it feels very elegant and classy in your hand yet it is pretty simple..... Enjoy!

This is a stemless bub that I finished last night... pretty stoked on it... havent made anything this involved in a while... inspired by a few folks who frequent this site... you can probably tell who you are... its so hard to take pics that do it justice... the opal marble with the dimple refracts the raked lines on the sides and creates a star saphire type of thing going on in there... anyway... enjoy!

This is a stemless that I just finished last night... for a good friend who is way into eastern philosophy and religion..... these patterns are some of the tightest I've ever done!!!

This was a quickie... I typically think that the classic form or a hammer sholdn't be altered with lots of attatchments... however ther are exceptions to every rule... the orange in this piece was rather unusual aswell... a very dark batch from G.A. The teal is an old Northstar color I've been holding onto for awhile...

After 3 years on the east side its time for change.... I've fallin in love with this amazing girl who happens to live in Eugene.... So I'm heading out west for awhile!... Bouncin' between Humboldt and Oregon... Oh Yes... this is a big stemless for my buddies up north... made with that silver striking sparkle color from precision... I haven't felt this inspired in years! Yo Chachie and Piper Dan, its time to RAGE!

This was the first piece I made after a year long hiatus... Super thick and very clean... It feels so good to be back behind the torch again! Mad props to my dear friend GASP for the inspiration on the green carnival honeycomb marble(about 2" in diameter)... hope you enjoy my work! sorry about the sideways pics...

A classy little sherlock.... I love the flow that is created by the striped horns.... it helps to balance out the heat of all that yellow..... I'm finding lately that there is an inherant elegance in simplicity.....

Yesterday was my birthday and one of my oldest, dearest friends came over with a suprise.... My first glass piece I ever owned!!! Its a Tory circa 1995.... hadn't seen it in 8 years.... this is where it all began for me!

This is the third in a series or evolution of this concept... opening new pathways to other realms in my glass mind..... inspired by crystal growth or formation.... as well as some numerological influence as usual.... the sevens and nines..... it measures about 14" end to end...

This is a rediculous dry piece that I made for an old friend that I grew up with who now lives in the great state of Vermont! He stressed his appreciation for intricate details so I really tweaked out on it for him... the color scheme is very electric to me... like it's plugged into a socket! Super smooth opal implosion marble and lots of techy patterns to stimulate the mind of a fellow psychadelic warrior... It also has a matching jar with a large basket weave, and a oneie (not pictured) that is similar to the mouthpiece pattern... I love making pieces for my old school brothers and this one was very special to me! I hope you enjoy it...

This is a classic sherlock for my dear friend Andrea... She's a rockstar so I figured that I'd bling it out with some disco sparkle... I also pulled out a little jolly roger(skull & crossbones) milli for the marbles... kinda hard to see in these bad pics because its so small.... Enjoy!

This is a double stemless that I made for one of my best friends back in August.... the first really nice piece I made back on the west coast... a real breakthrough for me as far as shape and pattern concept....

I love this piece!!! One of my favorite dry pieces that I've ever made... The color scheme, the mouthpiece pattern, and the rediculous pull-apart in the body of the can are so ill! I peeled my own wig back with this one... love that feeling! The colapsed opal marble came out sweet, and the opal marble tripod (one clear, one white, one black) was an added bonus to help balance it out. 23 sections over all...

This piece was a departure for me... As I started back up behind the torch, I wanted to try as many different things as possible... To help get the feel back... I had never really made a piece this shape or style... the color scheme was a totally different approach aswell...
Enjoy!

This was my first natural perk... A fun excercise in form and technique! Inspired by my old friend Jeh, the penetrated donut adds a very sexy effect to the whole stemless concept. I'm told that the functionality is also quite nice aswell... some fun tear aparts, an opal sphere marble, and a smooth color scheme make it really pop! Dig it...

I was sick for a few days(I hate summer colds!) and I got some inspiration from all the graphic art on the vh1 I Love The 70's marathon... Hey, I'll take it anyway it comes.... Anyway.... a smooth dry sherlock that would look proper in the hand of any 70's pimp.... ya dig...

This is a recent piece that I was stoked on..... been on the east side blowing soft glass....sorry for the shitty pics

These are a couple of recent marbles... the larger one with the fumed work has a triple layered effect which creates the illusion of internal movement. the second and third inner layers(slightlt obscured by the bubbles) were made from sock flipped hollow sections, the latter being barely visible unless caught at the right angle! The second marble is a standard ratichello made from a hollow section aswell... the back design is a concentric ring of dots with trapped air bubbles to add a little flair...

This is a sherlock that I made for a dear friend and fellow musician... he asked for a water themed color scheme... I also used an old dichro cane which I made 3 years ago... tough to see in these pics... Enjoy!

Yet another variation of my classic palm pilot shape.... feels good to go back after experementing with other styles.... the color scheme is the negative of Poopship Destroyer... had to jump on the bandwagon and throw in a bitch window.... this one is bound for the great north woods... Enjoy!!!

This is a quick Old school sherly... enroute to manchvegas... My pops said that it reminded him of the south west... "Like something one of the dudes from The Eagles would use... you oughta call up Joe Walsh and see if he wants it..." fuckin' funny shit...

Yet another head piece for an old friend... Gotta love the hometown vibe... first time I ever used chocolate crayon.... I love it!!! This is one of my favorite sherlocks I've ever made.... Enjoy!

I know, I know.... it's a little late but I did start making it on 6/6/06.... it was to be a stemless of a different shape and after having it almost fully assembled... it cracked off the blowtube and sacrificed itself to the dark lord.... someone in hell apparently needed that one alot more than anyone here.... however I decided to resurect it from the bowels of hell.... salvaged two of the discs and exorcised the demons.... notice the three 6 patterns on the discs.... had fun with this one.... its pretty chunky too.... ROCK!

This is a bub that I made a few weeks ago... a very aquatic feel with the sweeping shapes of th stem...the snorkle carb also lends it self well to underwater adventure... once again an attempt at a different color scheme and shaping style... Old School Moss honeycomb aswell as striped in with the other greens... I think I used 4 different greens in this one tube... Dig it..

This is a quick bub I made for a large order I'm putting together... Elegant and smooth... I incorperated a large air trapped marble, hadn't made one in a while... it was fun, I love the effect the layers create...Thanks

This is another stemless that I made for the boys at Glasspimps..... Tough to se the gradation of color from yellow to chartruse to olive... but over all I liked this color scheme... I'm just trying to snowball this creative energy into something huge... We'll see how it manifests itself... Thanks for looking and try to stay cool behind the torch... 'cause its hot as hell!!!

I started blowing glass at Liquid Light Studios in Humboldt with wilo and co. in '99.... spent 4 1/2 years behind the redwood curtain..... Ended up in back home in Jersey for the last few years.... after several breaks, I've been working glass full time again.... Now I'm heading back out west! I wouldn't be the artist I am today without the help and inspiration of a few key people, in no particular order..... Chachie, FRO, Gasp, Piper Dan, Jesse Taj, JEH, Shad, Shawn Daddy, Paulie, Marcel, J.Lee,
