This piece was another milestone for me. My first multi-attachments piece. I never tried bridging anything before, so here I trapped an opal marble between the two horns. This piece in particular I pushed my skills to the limit at the time, and it was very memorable to me. I remember shaking while putting the last few touches on it, usually a sign that you are really stressing on making a piece come out nicely, or you're up way too late, or both...lol.

The most work I'd ever put into one piece...

I was so excited, yet so nervous to fuck it up...lol.

...but as far as I was concerned, mission accomplished.

And I wanted to do was stop and look at it!

This piece would later secure the remaining needed funds to buy the Mirage torch.

I'm N8, 28 y/o, and I currently reside in Northern California. I started glassblowing in November 2002 and while I'm primarily self-taught, I did receive plenty of help along the way from a few good friends and the GLDG. Glassblowing has taken me all around our beautiful country while providing many great experiences and lifelong friendships - I wouldn't trade it for anything. The artwork shown here is not for sale. If you have questions, please contact me through my website. Viva la internet and GP.ORG!
