Demo's and demo's and demo's and a volcano. I had such a great time, as did everyone else who attended. I hope I can attend next year too! Pics by Derek M.

This was a great class, and Robin is a great instructor. During the workshop, I moved along pretty well, and I attribute that to the perfect balance of praise and constructive critisism from Robin. I also successfully completed the "Glass, Grass, and Ass Weekend" hosted by my friend BT. Also attending the class was Kyle, Tom, Micah, James and Brett.

Here are some pics of the 2005 AGI in PA. If you've never attended, you are missing out! It's one of the funnest weeks I have all year. I missed out in 2006 and it's one of my biggest regrets.

Here is a vessel workshop I taught in 2006 in Olympia Washington. I basically started making a vase, and ended up making a bubbler (by request) from start to finish as the demo. I then answered questions about my methods of assembly. If you are interested in lessons, feel free to contact me via the contact artist link at the bottom of my gallery.

The flame-off this year was the same weekend as AGI, antoher event I usually attend. But since AGI costs so much, asn Eugene was so close, I decided to see what this even twas all about. It was loads of fun, and basically like 2 days at AGI. I even took 2nd behind Sabina in the marble category! In 2007, the events will be on different weekends, so hopefully I can attend both.

Talent from all across the US attended and collaborated on glass artwork that was donated to a gallery committed to helping the glass community. Materials and assistance for the event were donated by Glass Alchemy, UST, Winship, Frantz Art Glass, Cornerstone, Living Glass Works and Glass Evolution. Thanks to everyone that helped make the event happen! Pictures of the finished artwork will be posted soon; some of it is still in the kiln.

I'm N8, 28 y/o, and I currently reside in Northern California. I started glassblowing in November 2002 and while I'm primarily self-taught, I did receive plenty of help along the way from a few good friends and the GLDG. Glassblowing has taken me all around our beautiful country while providing many great experiences and lifelong friendships - I wouldn't trade it for anything. The artwork shown here is not for sale. If you have questions, please contact me through my website. Viva la internet and GP.ORG!
