pushing this idea a little further than my first one. im going to finish a whole series of these and mount back light and hang them. i could not get a decent pic. but since its hollow a tiny chritstmas light bulb canbe inserted into the back side and it glows ,

2.5 inches tall from the bottom of the can to the mouth piece. thes are fun and quick to make but for some reason i only have one pic of it

pulled down the crappy range hood and built the real deal this time. couple random pics. just need to finish the dry wall and pain and extend the bench out a little to move the torch away from the wall,

first try at a stemless and the ring thing, not sure if i can save it and finish it. wanted to get a couple pics off before it took a turn for the worse. anyone else had a problem with cobalt tube cracking or is it just me ? mad props to marbleslinger for the inspiration and misticglass for all the help and info and putting up with all my dumb question

made the switch from soft glass beads to hollow boro a few months ago, im learnin alot the hard way. thanks for everyones help i have received so far.

sure its a janke bub 2nd one i ever tried, i thought the marble looked funky too, if i was really confident in it being a solid marble, I wouldn't have smacked it around, i was gonna see how easy it would bust, better i break it than somone who pays their own hard earned cash for it, turns out the marble was solid but in turn i found another area i need to work on....so ya cool guy, learn through experience, two mistakes i wont make again off of one piece of glass and 2 hours of my life...thanx.
p.s. i really like your work, the flowers from mars are cool. keep it up!
