plastic fume experiment. very interesting.
 
the entire piece was covered with the metalic looking fume but when reheated very hot or opened and exposed to a flame it disappeared(on each end). then center part was treated with a cold flame.

well i guess i should post these as some people think other people havnt been doing these for some time. jared got me thinking tho on how to make more bulk... im onto something good :) props to jared for makin me work harder!! the orange one i got 4 inches.... then i did the green one different technique.... got 7 inches.... the next one will be better!

did you put plastic on the inside or outside? hard to tell from pics, anyway I tried this too and it sure is nasty getting there huh.

might be cool to fume silver and golsd over that and then try to remove the plastic fume somehow, lke a silk screen or somethin?
