I fell in love with the art of the glass pipe back in '96. It wasnt until '98 that I got involved in the pipe industry, and feverishly watched glassblowers every chance I got here in Denver. I was blessed to be taught by a good friend name Bose, and lit my first torch in 2001. I thank everyone who has helped me so far, and cannot wait to see what this passion is going to manifest into. -B

In mathematical logic and automated theorem proving, resolution is a rule of inference leading to a refutation theorem-proving technique for sentences in propositional logic and first-order logic. In other words, iteratively applying the resolution rule in a suitable way allows for telling whether a propositional formula is satisfiable and for proving that a first-order formula is unsatisfiable; this method may prove the satisfiability of a first-order satisfiable formulae but not always, as it is the case for all methods for first-order logic.

A SecretAgentX9 Tribute Series.
We spent some time together this spring, and his style set me down a path that changed my outlook of the medium. He forced me to push it all to the next level. Truly a classy guy, both interpersonally and as and artist If you know the guy, you know what I am talking about. thanks daddio
3 drys 7 chillums 5 slides 1 bubbler and a partridge in a pear tree
The tree was a collab with Priest, and chillum #7 was a collab with Boulder Dane.

a·vant-garde: –noun 1. the advance group in any field, esp. in the visual, literary, or musical arts, whose works are characterized chiefly by unorthodox and experimental methods. –adjective 2. of or pertaining to the experimental treatment of artistic, musical, or literary material. 3. belonging to the avant-garde: an avant-garde composer. 4. unorthodox or daring; radical.
This set was a turning point in my overall body of work. Everything up to this point was pretty much practice, and this set represents cleanlines, conceptual execution, and functionality that I hadnt seen in my work before. You know that feeling when you conquer 3 or 4 new techniques that are applicable across the board, and everything changes. It's finally all coming together.
Of course none of this would have been possible without all of you who drive the scene forward. Thanks for the motivation to push the limits on a daily basis!

Set includes 1 bub, 7 slides, 3 marbles, and one pendant.
Inspired by, but nowhere near, the amazing talent of Jason Lee and Carlson.
The crazy reversals are not my forte, so I really pushed myself on this one. Trying to thicken up create a more compact bubbler.
Red Label because if you walk into a bar in Thailand, you have 3 choices, Beer, Red Label or Black Label.
And you dont order a drink, you order a fifth. And the best part, you can take it with you!!!!

I was fortunate enough to get up to the Twin Cities and melt some glass with Eric Ross. Eric not only has a flawless execution in his glass, but is a phenomenal person. He showed me a few things on the torch, and we got started on VaporDome Signature Series 2, which will be unveiled in Vegas this February along with some other big advancement in Vaporizing.
I also had the opportunity to catch up with the Freedom 35 boys, which was mind blowing to say the least. I have been traveling and studying the glass pipe counter culture for 15 years, and these guys are by far the most ridiculous group of collectors I have ever seen. These cats were knee deep in Jason Lee, Fro, Cowboy, Smiley, Darby, Bearclaw and anyone else who is paving the way in our scene. Truly breathtaking. Not to mention great guys as well. Rarely do you get to sit down with Non-artisans and get that deep into glass as an artistic medium. Ross and the Freedom crew definitely put Minnesota on the map in a big way.

Chris was cool enough to come out to Denver and create the next Signature series for the Volcano Vapordome. He did a series of 6 sets, with 1 and 6 including Bubblers. All sets include Chris's signature Black and White, with a rainbow set, a moss set, and a silver beach blow in set.
Overall the project went very smooth, and the set came out very nice.
Thanks Chris!
Stay tuned for upcoming series featuring Jason Lee and Freek.

This gun was a late night project. Inspired by Darby and Hamm, but nowhere near their caliber. Stemless waterpipe with icecatcher. Props to NateDizz for showing up late night and putting the final touches on the piece. This is the first piece in which I created a metal stand for. -B

Sometimes when all is going along smooth in life, you get backhanded and dropped to the ground just because. That is what my summer felt like, and it took a lot of introspection to get things back on track. Emotionally, mentally, and physically I was tested to a point that I thought I would break. Things are better than ever, primarily thanks to my Mirage and a few icy liquid tanks. Having glass as an outlet is as good as the best anti-depressant on the market, and really helped me power through a rough summer.
I spent a lot of time locked down in the studio this summer to put things back into perspective, and grew quite a bit as an artist, both in vision and technical skills.
Thanks to Pakoh, Slinger, Chris Carlson, Ross, Hamm and all the others for the tree of inspiration that I feed off of on a daily basis.

I have serious reasons to believe that the planet the little prince came from is Asteroid B-612. This asteroid has been sighted only once by telescope, in 1909 by a Turkish astronomer, who had then made a formal demonstration of his discovery at an International Astronomonical Congress. But no one believed him on account of the way he was dressed. Grown-ups are like that.

Thought I would try a tube. Simpsons themed. Danny P. did a Simpsons bub back in the day that was amazing, so I guess partially inspired by that. The chief is on the front because we all know that he sat around with Lou, Otto and Bleeding Gums Murphy and disposed of all that Springfield contraband accordingly. Tube stands about yay tall

These two bubblers were practice for a larger piece. The shaping was wonky and the patterns were mediocre. In the end I learned what I needed to learn for the big piece. glass on glass with matching chillums. chocolate, parramore white, mint, portland grey, silver beach and others -B

Best show I have been to yet.
The glass pipe movement of our generation is swelling more every year with talent, and this show is one of the best venues to see the progression.
Big Big Big ups to Rolling High, Glass Pimps, and High End Glass.
Rolling High stomped everything at the show.
Though glass pimps realized what a bitch it can be to ship that much glass from the east coast, Fro and Cowboy held it down. Them being at the booth in person def saved glass pimps ass at the show. I know I dropped some loot.
High End blew my mind with that Ghost work. Damn son.
All in all Vegas is a bottomless abyss of sin that needs to be cemented over and forgotten about.
I think its time for a new invite only show. Anybody with me?

This piece represents a huge step forward in my glassblowing skills. A lot of the credit goes to Danny P for showing me a few new techniques and walking me through this piece during a recent trip he took to Denver. He attached the bridge, and made the lizard. Colors are Paramore white, Paramore siberia, forest green, turbo cobalt and super unobtanium. And of course a bunch of credit goes to the inspirational pieces found on this site and the Melting Pot. Thanks for checking it out.
