A new style

A new style

My friend Kevin picked this one up from me. I love this little dry guy. Trying to find a new style you could say. The pics dont do this one justice at all. Coiled up Light Purple Haze from Momka. Pretty cool for a small dry piece though. Let me know what ya think. Thanks. Oh, thanks to Kevin for expanding my music collection. Hookin it up with tons of new CDs. Thanks man.

All coiled up

All coiled up

I was practicing my coiling and started making some unusual pieces. I'm not sure if I'm a huge fan of these, but they are beginning to grow on me alittle. Just different that the usually kind of stuff I make. Feedback would be awesome.

Another Funky One

Another Funky One

Blue AP. It seemed to just shape itself. Needs a blinger I think. Next time I guess. I like this one alot.

Coiled up and blung out

Coiled up and blung out

Best blinger yet! The marble is just over an inch in diameter. This was my first complete coiled up piece. I just tried to go for a different shape all together. I'm really happy with the outcome.

Coiled up Hammer

Coiled up Hammer

Yeah this one is nothing to write home about. My boy Mark keeps breaking all his pieces so I made him something cheap. Everything is coiled in this one. Even the clear. Dont ask why. I was on a coiling bender.

Honey Amber Dry Guy

Honey Amber Dry Guy

I think this one is so much nicer than what these pics portray. All coil built. Tryin to find some funk in my work. The can section is so heavy that the mouth piece doesnt even touch. Let me know what ya think. Thanks

Mother Green Pearl

Mother Green Pearl

Mother Green Pearl try out. Picked up some color to play with at Buttermilk. Came out pretty nice. I find that when I coil pieces I'm more about the form of the piece. When I encase its more about technique. I'm diggin the coiled ones more lately. They seem to take shape all on their own. Let me know what ya think of this one. Thanks
