Snorkeling with Rastas

Yep... some more stuff that's been done a million times before. I'd rather be snorkeling in Jamaica. Maybe next year. Ispiration provided by a few Reggae CD's, a boombox, the Miss High Times Pageant, and Nate Carter. "One day I'mma be rich and I'mma roll in dough, and use hundred dolla bills to roll indo, I'll have a biodeisel benz that I'll roll in though, but now I'm at the pizza parlor rollin' dough." -Lafa Taylor Photography by Danny Rawson.

*No tubing was harmed in the making of this product...

This sherly is a new technique for me, it's made of clear rods and color rods. There isnít much contrast between the two colors I used here. I think it adds a nice elegance to the piece. Also this bub is way more transparent than most of my work. Something I would like to achieve more often. Thanks for looking!

Production and Hammers

A lot of the consistency in the industry is in production and that is hopefully a fad, heady pieces are really the best expression!!!!!!

This is Glass gallery in Vancouver !

This Is Glass is a brand new glass art retail shop in Vancouver BC's upscale Gastown district. The shop aims to give glass artists of all kinds a place to showcase their creations. The shop will be run by Jennifer and Karl Ortman, experienced borosilicate flameworkers. We are still looking for artists to fill the store for the opening date of March 1st '08. This is a great chance to have your work displayed in a gallery type setting and sell them for more than you might otherwise. All glassworkers are encouraged to contact us. Pieces will be sold on a commission basis. Please send a description of your methods, a bit about yourself and sample photos to thisisglass@gmail.com
