so little to say and so much time....

i caught a couple of rats in the act of vandalizing my bubbler with their wildstyle patternwork while it was in the kiln.... November 2006. this piece was inspired by the artist BANKSY. www.banksy.co.uk. collaborative effort bewteen myself and Bryan Ratcliffe, aka CoolLiguid, aka Rat Dog, aka Rat Dizzle, aka Rat Diggler, aka Surf Rat, aka Ratty B, aka Ratmosphere..... I conceived the idea, made the bubbler, did the photoshoping, and sandblasting. Rat Digs was hired to sculpt a rat smoking a pipe and he also attached the rat and the horns to the bub. Thanx Rat dog! Big ups BANKSY, he is one of my favorite artists.

The Center Piece

Happy Thanksgiving from Fort Collins, This is the work of my roomate Dan Barto. Squash, coconut, orange, pear, and carrots in the assembly. This is a fully functional fruit tube that has become a thanksgiving tradition. Even the left over coconut juice and orange juice were used in filtering instead of water. Hits like a champ! Good times, friends and family, much love, everything to be thankful for. Thanks for checking out my gallery. Big Z

I Shot Andy Warhol.

"What’s great about this country is that America started the tradition where the richest consumers buy essentially the same things as the poorest. You can be watching TV and see Coca-Cola, and you know that the President drinks Coke, Liz Taylor drinks Coke, and just think, you can drink Coke, too. A Coke is a Coke and no amount of money can get you a better Coke than the one the bum on the corner is drinking. All the Cokes are the same and all the Cokes are good. Liz Taylor knows it, the President knows it, the bum knows it, and you know it." "An artist is someone who produces things that people don't need to have but that he - for some reason - thinks it would be a good idea to give them." -- Andy Warhol "I like boring things." -- Andy Warhol November 2006. Lampworked. Sandblasted.

Second Growth Cedar

Imagine having no running water to drink, chemicals contaminate the pipes leading to the sink; just think, if the grocery stores close there doors and they saturate the streets with tanks and start martial law. Would you be ready for Civil War? could you take the life of somebody you know or have feelings for?... be prepared for the worst has yet to come. -M1 & Stic-
