({Berserker})

"His men went to battle acted like mad dogs or wolves. They bit into their shields and were as strong as bears or bulls. They killed men, but neither fire nor iron harmed them. This madness is called berserker-fury." Based on the the Berserker Vikings. These guys were known to ingest huge amounts of magic mushrooms and alcohol before battle. They would often be possesed by the spirit of a wolf or bear. Chainmail by Sheena Lahue Stand By Wolfgang

Perminator 3.5

Chunky triple with a fourth can just for splash. I made this last summer with two of Marcel's huge flat canes and a dozen of Chris's luccidore insets. I mounted the reversals upside down from Chris's normal style. We call them Louigi-dores because their eyes become moustashes. Triple-Permulation!

Saxaphone Bubblers

I've always wanted a true sherlock bub that wouldn't splash you. Here's a clear Quad bubbler and a worked double bub. they both fit comfortably in the hand just like a dry sax and they rip great!

Ace of hearts

I haven't posted for a bit. I have been doing non-post worthy work so I could make something like this. All hand rotated, my biggest hand tube as well as my biggest accomplishment to date. This was a custom piece for a couple of friends. I think they were stoked. Thanks for checkin out my stuff.

War on Art

This piece was a response to Ashcroft's "operation pipedreams" and its dramatic effect on our culture. The camoflauge and barb-wire chamber represents the underground nature of our scene. The black helicopter is the "man" flying in to limit our freedoms and attempt to disrupt our peacefull way of life. Their missiles of fascism find their way in but the explosions sparkle with dichro rather than burn. Finally, the sword pommel stem is a reference to the Sword in the Stone of king Arthur. Which of us will rise to slay the beast and lead us to new horizons? With all the distibutors shutting down and having no contacts to sell my work, I made this piece out of despair. I put two weeks into it and $300 into postcards of it at a time when it was hard to eat. It sold when nothing else would for me, and it launched a rebirth in my work. P.S. This is the only pic i have of this piece. If the owner could hook me up with nice pics, i would kick down something nice.

Merlin's Desklamp

I made this back in 2003-04, on a whim. it has hollow passages for the wiring to run hidden inside. i never got around to wiring it and it saw tragedy a few times with wings breaking off and stuff, but with some hot steps and some glue it's been on my shelf safe and sound for a few years now. i make very few sculptural pieces so this one means alot to me. 8"x12"x5"

Heavy Metal

I stopped watching T.V. 10 years ago, quit smoking cigarettes 2 months ago, but I can't seem to get my fill of glassblowing. This came from one of those days that I couldn't blow glass(like sunday because no one sells O2) so I decided to draw what I could potentially have made. Monday came around and this is what I came up with. Thanks for looking.
