Tutankhamun's Lost Tube

I've always had a thing for Egyptian history and design. I created this tube after visiting the King Tut exhibit in SF. The exhibit was incredibly inspiring, I would love to see the real tomb in person one day. All of the etched hieroglyphs on the neck and down stem are actual rubbings of the walls from his tomb that I scanned in. Except for the dog blowing glass in the neck section, inspired by my dog that just passed away last month. This is the second tube I've made on the lathe, big thanks to Mantis Glass for the time and tools. Hope you dig, this tube will be in Vegas with me along with much more of my recent work. Safe travels to all, see ya there!

Fairies and Flowers 2

This is the sequal to a series I started back in 2001. It is a stemless perk that features a Dark Amethyst main body with grean fade Tetraploid and Aztec windows. Also has two Fairies on both sides of the piece standing in flowers, holding a flower and sporting the television head of my "American Beauty" series. The whole thing balances quite nicely on a lovely stand made by Shirley Erickson. Thanks for looking and remember, turn off the TV go outside and play :)

ZP2010 you can see these works @ the ROlling High booth at the 2010 winter Champs show in vegas. These pieces are predecessors to the work that will be in my show @ Easy Street Gallery in Brooklyn, during the month of May this year. Japanese Oni

The Oni are demons in Japanese folklore that were sculpted into the homes to ward off other demons. Much like gargoyles of western achitecture. Thanks for checking it out.

2010 - Robin Hood vs N8 - Double Space

Intergalactic Doubler Madness! We spent the last few days working on this monster to bring to Vegas - stands a little over a foot tall and weighs over 3-1/4 LBS! I was the parts factory and Nick rocked out the assembly line. We had a great time with this one - it went together perfectly, and we only had to make a few things over (and over, and over) a handful of times...lol. Thanks for looking!

A Double Shot of Fire-Water

I made this double bubbler over the last six days. I used one of my favorite color schemes with one of my favorite designs. I feel like it is my best work yet. Finally technical ability isn't holding me back and I can just create what is in my imagination. Thanks to everyone on this sight for inspiration over the last nine years.
