mini ME ripple perc bubbs

so its really hard to take pictures of these new percs. there are basically threee levels of hollow connections connecting two cylinders... one connection in the center level, 2-4 connections in the middle level and 8 connections on the outer level. it basically mimmics the function of a nice perc treee but its sculpted on the exterior instead of sealed on the interior... they are a pain in the ass to make but really fun.

<<((O))>>------

Peafowl are forest birds that nest on the ground but roost in trees. They are terrestrial feeders. Both species of peafowl are believed to be polygamous. However, it has been suggested that peahens entering a green peacock's territory are really his own juvenile or sub-adult young and that green peafowl are really monogamous in the wild. The peacock flares out his feathers when he is trying to get the peahen's attention. During the mating season they will often emit a very loud high-pitched cry. They also travel in hunting packs between ten and ninety.

DeLong Vs. VelaG

DeLong was the first artist I met when I moved to the north coast of california. It feels full circle working with him now. He truly is a master at his craft. Fist one is a cylinder dome and the second is an insulated dome that is carved inside and out. It just feels amazing in your hand. Thanks for looking. Enjoy.

CUPRUM

Copper plated Mayan Sun Disk Slide. This was the first piece in a series I've been making since back in early 2010, shortly after I began experimenting with copper plating. The focus of this series is to blend imagery from the Native Cultures of South America into the modern world of the functional Glass Art Pipe, to flourish a series of pieces that is most deserving for the era of 2012. The largest mass of elemental copper weighed 420 tons and was found in 1857 on the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan, US. Many more to come, thanks for looking! Made in April of 2010.
