~SHEATH RETTICELLO BOTTLE SET ~

Retticello bottle set...this set I've,had kickin around the house a real long time...it originally consisted of three pieces ,but one broke..beyond repair(an oil lamp...) and the one with the dolphin used to have a long skinny neck.taller than the rest ,but it had an unfortunate 5' fall off a shelf..can't tell though so whatever.

gobblet

First gobblet in over one year. The cup is my best yet, nice and wide for the red. I pussied out and decided to try Milon's circular plate glass foot. I made 4-5 others but forgot pics.

PAINFUL

18 stiches in my palm and the piece is finally done. Making a long story short halfway through this piece I sliced myself pretty bad. I somehow decided to tape a paper towl around my hand and work for 3 more hours until completion. I had bigger and better dreams initially, now I am just happy the piece and my hand work. the piece is a little under 10".

for the oxygen guy

i made this for the guy who supplies me with oxygen in the chemistry lab. came out pretty nice, but there's a weird internal crack in the marble i believe. doesnt really take away from the piece much i dont think. one of the few free-form things i've made. i plan on doing much nicer ones when i'm home with the kiln, they're so fun. hope you all dig it...peace.

WETD 90.7

when i'm at school the only place i can blow glass is in the chemistry lab because they got the gases. i made this marble for the chemistry teacher that lets me do work. he's also the head of the college radio station, that's why it says WETD 90.7. i'm pleased with how it came out and so was he. enjoy.

This was my first one. The insets are surface worked then flared wide to inside out. Another fun time behind the torch. That is what I am going to do right now get behind the torch.

Bee Goblet with Lid.....Honeycomb Series...may '04

This piece won first place last october at The 2004 SBCC Small Images Exhibit...in 3 D category..barely fit w/in size limits, had to be less than 18"...I havent put any of my non pipe art up....not much concerned about people swiping pipe tech...but I'm a little more territorial of my other work...but this is fairly a straight forword piece ,tech. wise...so why not post it I figured....I have a whole series based on bees and honeycombs ,and other related bee stuff...just a few pics....Dementions are approx 17" x 6...w/ stopper
