Bonedragon Dynasty Set

Bonedragon Dynasty Sword dabber and dish set Sword with a Dragon skull at the crossguard in a bone colour texture, the overall length is just over 7 1/5 inches (18.3cm), sword blade is Loki over unobtainium ... The crossguard comprises the horns of the bone dragon and is made with a similar mix of bone colour texture as the dragon skull. The pommel of the sword sports a dragon eye murrine and ruby prunts. Also to accompany the dabber, one Bone Dragon skull dish, at 3 inches diameter (7.5cm) across the lip, with horned bone dabber rests on opposing sides. The Bone Dragon skull is picked out in butterscotch over white and the background is in charcoal black. My initial reference point for the Bone Dragon skull is the skull of a Gila monster lizard. The lip wrap is in Unobtainium. Thanks for checking it out! Thanks to Rone for the nomination and Alien! for the feature!!! I'm glad you like my sets :) I've been putting them up for straight out auction at boromarket.com

Banjo - Mickelsen collab

This is the piece I made with Banjo on Aug. 22 - 27, 2011. It is 32" tall x 12" wide. I made the figures while Banjo built the double-helix and did most of the major assembly work.

After alteration I was able to execute the sale...Funny how art works..Thanks for everyone who attended and Jessica and Steve @ Sumo!

Invaders

Another idea I'm playing with at the moment, continuing a very limited series of dabber/dish sets. Vikingr Dynasty sword set and dabber ... sounds a bit like something from IKEA :D the rusty sword is 16cm long and dish is 6.7cm diameter, viking designs from archeological digs and manuscript. The sword rest is modeled on viking house beams and gables. thanks for checking it out :) and thanks for the nom, Jjmfh ... not sure how to pronounce that ;)

The Traveler

I made this guy at AGI this year. I called him an alien at the time, but I like to think of him as a traveler, maybe in a post-apocalyptic wasteland... I like making these little creatures because I get to create them and then apply whatever identity I want to them. It's kind of like making action figures. I would like to thank Salt, Down Neck, and Brandon Martin for posting their work. I can't say any particular aspect of my work is directly taken from any of their work, but I know that their work has affected the direction of my style. This is true of many other artists as well, but I think this piece specifically holds influences from the artists above.

Angel and Devil Chess Set

This is a chess set that I finished about two weeks ago. It is my first ever. Doing something like this is rather simple. I find the chess board for $5 to $8 at garage sales and flea market. The ones in a box with plastic or glass molded pieces. Throw those away. For my bases I am using marble 1/4 inch holes drilled into the middle. then i post with 6mm post and use silicone to sleeve and allow for a tight fit.Make 32 pieces and you are done.
