0. Custom Carlise Marvering Pad/Point...

This is a marvering pad that my son and I made together on a sunny sunday...Can you believe he did most of the sanding, and for 2 1/2 years old, he did a suprisenly fine job...He's quite the little helper. I'm so proud of him...If anyone's interested in obtaining a custom marvering pad for thier torch, or other custom work done to thier burner (except Herbie's, or any german torches for that matter)(as much as I love em, I don't fuck with em.)...

A Piece of Glassblowing History

A Piece of Glassblowing History

I picked this lathe up a couple of years ago. It was designed by N.A.S.A. and Heathway with special help from Homer Hoyt(Scientific glass wizard and Boro Art pioneer) It was designed specificly to make specialty parts for early space travel. It weighs over 2 thousand pounds. I had to rent a forklift to pick it up and drop it at my house. This is one of 4 lathes like this to be built. For most of this lathes life it was run on 24 hour shifts by...
