I am fully stoked to present the newly completed home of team cold beer's pirate sector...
it was late last night... When this project began, this building was a cinderblock shell, with slanted floors... We took it on as a learning experience, and did it all ourselves, except hard piping the plumbing, and hanging the ventillation. The City gave us a new 200 amp electric line just for the shop too. no more flickering lights in the house now! The yellow ramp under the table is for the new lathe to sit on. the shop is small, only 10x20 feet, so the lathe drops beneath the bench in order to open up another bench space. while two of us work here constantly, we could probably fit up to four without too much cramping for a collab etc.
$50 dollars saved my life too

Well here's the new shop. My hood assembly is all thanks to AJ. He reassured me about the wonders of foil faced foam insulation board. So three sheets,(1/2", $15 a sheet) two rolls of foil tape, a new fan, some 30' of 10" aluminum flex duct, and a little blood, I'm all done.
The foam board really does not want to explode into flames like you think it would. Foil tape, by the way, is way better than duct tape.

I converted a Midas mini RV into a shop, tore out all the insides, put up a full size table, squirrel cage fan, Carsten's old kiln, plenty of storage, chained my tanks in a custom brace, threw in a custom power grid. and the back bench still fods out into a bed.

also you'll notice in the pics no big ass tanks sittin around. i piped the oxy 300 some feet so i didnt have to move tanks.
