Another Hammer

Another Hammer

(DeVito)
At first I wasnt too fond of this one, but its growing on me more and more. I think I like the dark cobalt the most. These pieces are starting to get larger everytime I make them too.

HAWK HILL IS BACK!
Well, the shop is back up and running after three hard months of re-modeling. We've been back at at it for a couple of months and it's better than ever! This isn't my first piece since the j-sun lee class so i've had time to practice the massive amount of knowlege he pounded into my brain, but stay tuned for new galleries of the first ones. Thanx J-sun you changed my life, you are a GOD of Lampworking and I hope to see you again soon, peace.

Big Step

Big Step

(DeVito)
I had a chance to hang out with Erik Anders for the last few days. He has really opened my eyes when it comes to glass. Thanks Erik for giving me the opprotunity to come and learn from ya. I cant thank you enough. I'm forever greatful. Six reversals, my first tribal and blingger marble. Blown out onyx carb. This is the most technical piece I've ever tried to make. Not too shabby for doing it on a national.
this is my buddy ryans hammer

darin mitchellfeb hammer /1st tube encase

(DarinMitchell)
my first try at tube encasement.im usuallly an i/o guy but thought i should give it a wirl .
there were pros and cons for me
pros=the color stayed real bright.
cons=took a while longer, got lots of bubbles(my bad )that i had to pop and fix.
all and all it came out good.the smaller balls looked alot better too than the big ones.

Pretty Clean for Me

Pretty Clean for Me

Motor hammar

Motor hammar

(Doshworld)
hammar with jar, i did the lip rap in some kind of super sparkly geen makes a nice affect, and i backed the marbal with that mystery adventureen stuff, amazing ive used it all over with very little problems, the only funny thing is the peice sits up and it is perfectly balanced but the slightes bump and it drops to one side kinda like a motorcycal.?, eh thats just part of the vibe yo
Trip to Neptune

Trip to Neptune

(DeVito)
The whole piece is coiled Neptune Sparkle. This color rocks! Two galaxy marbles. And a dichro chip that Erik kicked down to me. Thanks Erik. Everything came out good with this one. I feel that the pics dont do enough justice to this one.
Horny or spiky?

Horny or spiky?

(StratisphereGlass...)
Playing around with some shaping. Very thick and heavy. I like the ways the horns turned out. Getting ready for a bigger nicer version. Carb is on the back of the reball.
Simple but Fun

Simple but Fun

(DeVito)
Been working with alot more clear lately. I personaly like this piece alot. Simple in alot of ways but it was still alot of fun to make. I put my first sig marble on the side. Could of came out better, but then again everything could always be alittle better. Let me know what ya think.
Dog Ball

Dog Ball

(DeVito)
This guy is pretty small. The idea behind this one was inspired by Peter Woloszyn. I'm a fan of his mini pieces. So I tried to go small. The piece is only three inches long. I got the color scheme from a ball that my dog was chewing on at the time. Hence the name for this piece. Over all I'm pretty happy with the way it came out.
